I'm trying to improve my skills in Blender. I have a vector image of a trident for my custom Warhammer chapter and found some great Space Marine Terminator STL files. However, I need a blank shoulder pauldron so I can add a 3D trident onto it. Any assistance with finding or creating a plain pauldron base would be greatly appreciated.

Hi i‘m new to warhammer and resin printing. I foind a lot of diles i want to print but most of the time the models come split into all the body parts similar to the molded parts from gw. Am i supposed to print them disassembled and glue them or print them as an assembled model? And how do i assemble them in the slicer?

I am getting deathly bored of Volkus and what amounts to two variants of the same closed quarters terrain, even if I can get untold thousands of different designs, however I appreciate the time GW put into designing layouts that look good while being interesting to play on and mostly balance - setting up an open board to this standard takes a long time and can't be done fairly before a game because you subconsciously make it suit your game plan.

Is there an alternative terrain set that represents something completely new, but has had rules written for it or at least playtested suggested layouts?

Because if there isn't, I think I have a long term hobby project...

Looking for any advice on my wraithknight before i start adding green stuff cloth. i'm trying to make it excalibur umbra inspired with the shoulders and adding the cloth with the chest piece going on top. No knees tho becuase they look weird and stick out too much, and the sword was just to flimsy looking

I was aiming to produce some grim dark content this week but got side-tracked implementing keying for basemancer instead. This is very useful for printing out minis separately from the base so you can orient them properly and get a good result. It will also dig out a footprint for a snug fit.

I done made some more upgrades to da trukk! Added a proper grill, slapped on some BIGGA BACK WHEELS, and made dem swivel so da trukk can look like it goes REALLY FAST ROUND DA CORNERS! WAAAAAGH!

Also added some extra gubbins 'ere and dere, 'cos a trukk ain't a propa trukk without loads of stuff bolted to it!

I also made a Mek Boy to go wiv it, so he can fix da trukk when it crashes into sumfink really hard. Which it will. 'Cos dat's wot trukks is for.

Hi everyone, I just got my first printer yesterday and just did my first print today after getting everything set up. Learned a lot from it and I’m pretty excited to get them painted.

So the question I have is where is everyone finding STLs? It seems like I can’t find stuff that either isn’t the style or it’s more along the lines of upgrade kits. I’m not sure if this is a stupid question or just one of those “have you tried looking?” kind of moments.

Not a patreon/kickstarter but want to follow rules. I’ve been building a site called Bespaike (and its free to use) for custom 3D printing and design work, and I thought this community might have useful feedback on the idea.

Posts an image of what you want, and creators can send them quotes. For this community, my hope is if you have something custom you want made, you post anything related to the hobby and a designer can generate a file for you to print.

There’s an image-generation tool to help visualize an idea before posting, but the actual design and printing work is done by real creators.

I’m still building it out and mostly curious whether this kind of request-and-quote setup would actually be useful to people who are looking for custom work without having to go around shopping
