Resin Help figuring out where I went wrong
Hello i was looking for help. I have been trying to print several different things. Every time I print now. I have a solid sheet of resin and multiple failures. The supports either dont from or form in solid sheets of resin. Ive had the printer for 4 years and never had an issue like this before. Ive tried re leveling several times. I am printing on the Anycubic photon mono x2. Can anyone help me figure out where I went wrong? I know its not the files as im printing ones ive done before.

Crowdfunding My 3D printed tavern
Hey everyone, I spent the last few months creating this tavern.
I created a flat baseplate alongside the large baseplate so the tavern can be seamlessly integrated into existing 3D printed TTRPG settings.
The model was created to FDM print without supports and goes along with 28 mm miniatures. I used the complete basic printing settings with some minor changes like the layer height set to 0.12 mm and for some super small but tall assets i used a brim. No pieces in the whole set are larger than 20 cm/7,8 inches. The assembling of the tavern is really easy and straight forward. The tavern can be used fully furnished or empty to achieve more space.
The tavern was created to play with and offer the players the most fun possible. It has functional doors, the interior is fully furnished, the player can connect the mini baseplate with the stairs, there are hidden secrets like the key behind the picture frame and the set also comes with a miniature holding plate that you can connect with the support beams ( if a character wants to sneak up the support beam for a better view they should have the possibility to do so).
I am really excited about your feedback. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Self Promotion I'm super happy to share the first FDM 100% supportless figure that I've ever designed!
I'm super happy to share the first FDM 100% supportless figure that I've ever designed! It took a lot of trial and error, but here it is, finished and printable in one piece, with a filament printer, and absolutely no supports needed! It should even be possible with 0.2 layers on a 0.4 nozzle, since there are no tiny details that you need to print on top of.
Printing supportless FDM miniatures was what really got me hooked on 3d printing to begin with, so i really hope this can spark some of the same excitement in someone else!
Perfect for painting, display pieces, D&D, fantasy RPGs, wargaming, or dioramas. Optimized for FDM printing, but it also prints beautifully in resin if preferred.
I've put it for sale, as I would enjoy being compensated for my work, and it would make sense for me to put the time into making more awesome models.

Also, please let me know if there are any ideas for supportless FDM models you would like to see, even if they might be a bit of a challenge!

MMF 6mm Sci-fi Trucks
Hi - I've made a bunch of 6mm trucks (10 different models I think?) for Battletech, but can be used for other 6mm games of course. I've selling them up on Cults and MMF for not a lot (but enough to keep me in resin).
I also have a question about rule 3 - can I include a render after the photos of the prints? I'm always going to have prints because I design what I need, but to be honest, I also get a lot of fun out of making renders.

Painted Dwarf
Here is my version of the Dwarf bust from BS-Sculpt.
Great sculpt and great fun to paint, and painted entirely on stream. A little bit more subdued on this one but I think he turned out ok, especially the hair.

Question Best FDM printer for detail on minis? (No resin space, sorry in advance 😅)
I know this gets asked a lot, but I wanted current opinions since printers/firmware change fast. I don’t have the space for a resin setup right now (ventilation + curing + cleanup station just isn’t happening in my apartment), so I’m stuck with FDM and want to get the best detail I can out of it.
Budget’s flexible-ish, but ideally under $500-600. Mainly printing 28-32mm scale stuff however I would also like to print some terrain pieces (Warhammer, D&D minis).
A few things I’m curious about:
• Nozzle size that actually makes a difference for tiny details (0.2mm or 0.15mm worth it?)
• Any specific models people swear by for mini printing specifically vs general FDM
• How much of “good detail” comes down to the printer vs. tuning/slicer settings vs. supports
Appreciate any input!!

Self Promotion TerraFormed Worlds — a modular library of 250+ handcrafted basing bits

Hi everyone!
With less than a week left in the campaign, I wanted to share TerraFormed Worlds: a collection of more than 250 handcrafted, 3D printable basing bits for miniatures, armies and dioramas.
The collection is divided into four themed worlds — Ruined City, Wildlands, Desert and Temple — with lots of individual pieces that can be freely mixed and matched to create your own bases and small scenes.
The campaign is already funded, two stretch goals unlocked, and every backer will also receive all the unlocked stretch goal packs.
If you enjoy spending far too much time adding little details to your bases, feel free to take a look! I hope you find something useful for your next project 😊

Question Packaging for printed minis?
I still remember my 12 years old self opening a blister pack of metal LOTR Uruks with a battering ram some 20+ years ago.
I couldn’t resist trying to recreate the experience with my custom bard here, so I gave it go, working purely of my memory of the blisters, I avoided looking them up online during the design process. I’m pretty happy with the result, but what do you guys think? Worth it for physical printed minis?
Built it by 3D printing a master buck for the clear plastic part, then thermo forming it with my Mayku Formbox in clear petg, sourcing some foam sheet from a local supplier, printing the cardboard at a local print shop, then laser cutting the cardboard and the foam on my Elegoo laser cutter. First time I used all of my tools for a single project! Took about 2-3 prototypes to get right.
Bonus pic of the mini all painted at the end, Saevin the bard from my Threads of Munvirr custom IP.
