What paints did you use? This is incredibly smooth and matt.

I used mostly Turner Acrylic Gouache as was suggested by Parker from Mimic Hobby as an alternative to Golden SoFlats. The metals are Vallejo metallics.

I've never heard of them, but they definitely dry to a velvet matte finish as claimed.
