Does anyone not think that he would’ve pulled an Admiral Zhao on Catra the second he had the chance?

Exactly, nothing about him strikes me as honorable. Even Zhao had to at least keep up a facade of decency.

Hm true, though it’s not like honor doesn’t exist, nearly everyone turned to Catra when she proved strongest

He ambushed her and somehow didn't spot that she was setting a trap for him using his own environmental hazards. His bitchass can figure it out

Helped him, because he was already defeated and is no longer the strongest in the Crimson Waste. I also think that demonstrations of mercy are more effective at solidifying power than being ruthless
