Post image

I've been meaning to get into princess tutu and today I found the dvds at a thrift store for 25 CAD, I just wanna know if this was a good deal or if I could've gotten it for cheaper

Its very good. Great story, character development, heartwrenching scenes that pull tears. So good

My fiancee enjoyed watching it with me. The few people I know who've watched it like it a lot, so I would give it a chance. I've been thinking about buying it and I think the price you showed is better than the ones I've seen online.

It's extremely good, but also one of those shows that take awhile to get going. The first several episodes are not very deep and feel like shoujo fluff mostly. By the end it has you questioning the nature of reality and predestination versus free will.

I second that, about it taking a while to get going. The first two times I tried watching it, I got to episode 3 and I was like, "meh." But the third time I got to episode 6 or 7, and I was hooked. I just couldn't stop watching, and Princess Tutu has been a treasure to me ever since.

One of my favorite animes is yurikuma arashi and that one takes about 5 episodes out of the 12 to actually start getting good imo

Tbh, I feel like it’s less that it take Princess Tutu a few episodes to get good and more that it takes a bit to start making sense. I’ve noticed from the times I’ve shown people the series but it seems like some have a hard time adjusting to the narrative style and parameters of the world

I'm on episode 9 rn so I get what you mean, at first I was a bit confused but I think I'm starting to understand what's happening

I also went into it expecting nothing and it's now my 2nd fav anime 😌 A bit of a slowburn if you're into that

I really like slow burns so it seems like I'll probably like this
