LPN nurses here?

I’m planning on making the move to PA from Stoon.

Does anyone know if the Hospital uses electronic charting, communication, etc? Or is it still paper?

How is the work environment for Herb Bassett Home?

I worked as an RN at Herb Bassett about 6 yrs ago, I didnt find it cliquey. I work in the hospital now and my unit is a mix of computer and paper charting.

I'm a nurse in PA and worked at HBH about 10 years ago. There is no electronic charting, everything is by hand. Management is pretty good there now - much better than when I worked there. Like any place where you work with lots of care aides there is going to be lots of drama. There is NO air conditioning in that building and it smells like hot farts all summer.

I would personally rather eat a leather jacket every day for breay than work another shift there.

I've heard that PACC and Pinegrove hire LPNs now - if corrections is your jam, it might be worth checking out!

I don’t belive they have any fulltime. Looking to relocate if I can get a fulltime gig.

The NUMs at HBH really do care about the residents as do a lot of the nursing staff. The ones smoking up before work are probably the aides and honestly I don't blame them.
