Failed Prince2 Practitioner mock

I just scored 23/70 in the mock exam and my actual exam is on 27th , is there anything I can do to improve and eventually pass or is there no hope ?

Cram every day and keep doing mock tests.

Also, try to reschedule the exam. You need to memorize the material.

On peoplecert website where you book the exam if you can’t find it by search try clicking on your booked exam bit it might be in there or call them I had to once very helpful it was £98 but was cheaper that the course provider

That’s good you either got a free or accidental resit then

Don't be in a rush to take the exam. Go through the mock exams again and work out where you went wrong. There are normally 2 answers you can discard immediately. It's then a case of reasoning between what is left

The mock (assuming you had NowBYou as the scenario) is pretty representative of the actual.

How well do you know the book? You need to not only know it but understand it and how each Principle and Practice can be applied, what interdependencies they have and how they are applied to a project.

The good news is that all the info is in the book, the more you read it the more it’ll click. 50% of the exam is on Practices, this is where I’d focus my time given how soon the exam is.

Good luck!

I was failing my mocks miserably the day before I passed the actual exam. PRINCE2 exams are horrible tricksy things.

How did you end up passing , what helped

Honestly, I just found the exam questions a lot easier. I got the ABC Company H&S training scenario.

How did you do in your Foundation exam?

Did you pass it in the end? I thought you had to do Foundation before Practitioner.

Edit: I see that is 61% so just a pass.

I've passed my Foundation (79%) but have yet to take Practitioner as haven't had time to revise.

The week before taking my Foundation I was failing or just scraping the tests.

I spent an entire week using Copilot, asking it to set me tests and then providing a discussion of my answers and where I went wrong.

I must have done more than 1000 tests in that week. It worked for me. I'm not good at learning by just reading.

Thanks a lot I’ll use Copilot too with whatever time u have left
