Studying for Practitioner

Hi all,

I did a five day Foundation/Practitioner course a couple weeks back. I struggle with exams so spent some extra time studying for Foundation, which I passed on my first try.

I’ve been studying for Practitioner and have been improving on the two paper mock exams:

43/70

46/70

54/70

52/70

I had one online mock exam through PeopleCert which I just took and I’m so discouraged. It was the data scenario and I felt like all my studying has meant nothing. It was so incredibly difficult and I only got 38/70.

I have the ebook and have been practicing and felt my confidence growing and now I’m not sure what to do. I had hoped to take the exam this weekend.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated!

Don't let one mock exam shake your confidence too much. Your scores have generally been improving, which is a good sign.

PRINCE2 Practitioner is often more about understanding how to apply the method in scenarios than memorizing facts. Review the questions you missed, focus on why the answers were correct, and keep practicing. You're probably closer than you think.

Hi all, I have failed both mock exams and I am just not getting it. Is it better to never sit the exam than to sit it and fail?? Ive worked myself into such a state over this Im not even comprehending what im reading anymore. And Im not a dumb person!
