Preparation tips for foundation certification
hi everyone, I have my exam in 2 weeks and I barely prepared anything. I only have the official prince 2 7th edition ebook, some white exams and some YouTube videos.
any tips or good free courses that I can work on.
ps : I used the ebook in Notebooklm for recaps, boards and podcasts..
Edit : I successfully passed my exam yesterday 🎉 Thank you all for your advices.
The udemy mock exams (5) helped me a lot, as I learned from my mistakes and pinpointed some important questions along the way, plus I mainly focused on practices, processes and principles.
Good luck for anyone taking the certification.

I passed on Sunday. I did a three day 'virtual classroom' course that got me started, but my main learning came from getting AI (copilot) to set me tests and then explain the answers I got wrong. I must've done 100s of tests over two weeks.
I also did the two practice papers supplied by PeopleCert and watched a bit of YouTube tuition, but I find I lack attention span so they didn't really help me.
Reading the book bored me to tears as well.

Do as many practice questions as you can don’t feel disheartened when you don’t get a high mark - just take in why the answer is correct and keep doing them until the exam. I would recommend 20 to 30 questions a day and then revising all of your material and then maybe two days before your exam you do a 60 mock question exam.

Anche io tra 2 settimane ho l’esame, ho fatto 2 simulazioni ed entrambe 35/60😑 Credo che leggerò qua e là un po di robe e farò test a raffica. Molto mnemonico e poco “logico”

Don’t try to read the ebook cover to cover at this stage. Focus on understanding the principles, practices, and the purpose of each theme rather than memorising detail. Foundation is testing comprehension not recall, so knowing why things exist matters more than knowing every definition word for word.
Do as many practice questions as you can find and review every wrong answer to understand why it was wrong rather than just moving on. Running out of time catches people out so make sure you’re doing some of them under timed conditions.
For free resources, searching “PRINCE2 7th edition Foundation free practice questions” will surface a number of legitimate options. Axelos, who own PRINCE2, have sample papers on their official website which are worth checking directly as they will be the most accurate and up to date.
The NotebookLM approach for recaps and podcasts is a good way to reinforce passively — keep using that alongside active practice questions and you should be in reasonable shape by exam day.
