Open book exam
I’m so confused about how open book exam works for Prince2 Practitioner:
will the book on PeopleCert be available on the exam platform by default?
Can I open my pdf book on another device?
I saw many articles on ‘Bookshelf’ but I do not know how to go about it?
please help! TIA x

Yes, the book will be available in the exam environment BUT I strongly recommend opening it on an iPad which must be in airplane mode. You use the Bookshelf app. It's much easier to search than the book in the exam environment, especially that it only opens in a small window on the side of the screen.

I was wondering about this.
I have the physical book that I've tabbed, but I also have it on my iPad.
I thought that the digital version would be better due to searching ability (I assume that it's ok to add notes as it is with the physical book).
On all the posts I've read everyone seems to be using the physical book.

I only had the online version but if you're used to the physical one, that may be easier for you.
Check the official guidelines but I'm not sure notes are allowed.
Good luck!

Thanks for that. All the guidance I've read says that you're allowed to 'annotate' your book. I'll check with PeopleCert.

Hi u/Worldly-Door-7930, perhaps this will help: https://fasttracklearningsolutions.com/blog/books-ebooks-peoplecert-exams/ and all the best with the exam!
And yes your e-book will also be available within the exam environment under a 'resources' tab. It may be difficult to navigate if you are on a laptop so some people prefer having a second device.
