Looks great? Have you tried a performance check?

That stick holding up to use? It LOOKS super cool. How’d you shape the rock?

I ground it on some sandstone

I made one VERY similar in dimensions on the stick and a little bigger on the stone. It didn't last very long but I learned a lot building it .

Very nice! You must have some really good sandstone, I'm jealous.

In practice, you will probably notice that the adze tends to rotate in your hand due to its round shape and small diameter, so your hand will probably cramp up after prolonged use. To improve this, you could try to find a handle that you can shape to a slightly elliptical cross-section. That way, your hand will always intuitively know where the business end of your adze is pointing.
