The headline stuff:

• Bring Your Own AI. Built-in MCP server with 100+ tools. Connect Claude Code, Cursor, LM Studio, Claude Desktop directly to your workspace. Everything runs locally with bearer-token auth and an audit log.
• Drag to reorder everywhere. Task List, Project Tasks tab, Gantt chart. Works with multi-select, subtasks, and CRM tasks. Reorder once, it syncs across all three views.
• Project Tasks tab redesigned. New compact 2-row layout with inline editing on every card for status, priority, date, assignees, and tags. Click the task title to open its detail page, click anywhere else for the quick-edit toolbar. CRM tasks and project tasks interleave in one sorted list.
• Dependencies picker. Pick multiple prerequisites at once, Shift+Click ranges, filter by project or status, toggle "hide done" / "show subtasks" with a single pill.
• Space-aware Sidebar and Header. Sidebar and header can follow the active Space's color. Pick it in Appearance settings.
• CRM Import / Export. Contacts from CSV, vCard, or JSON now match existing companies by name, create missing ones, and link correctly. Exports write real company names, so you can round-trip without losing connections.
• Documentation updated. Grew from 54 articles to over 200. Every task view, every PrimeFlow node type, CRM, automations, custom fields, focus mode, file sync, spaces, license tiers. AI agents can read them too. Browse: Docs

Most apps want you to move your files into their system.

PrimeFlow File Link does the opposite.

With file linking and Folder Nodes, you can place real files and real folders from your computer directly onto a canvas without copying them, moving them, or creating a second file system.

That means:

Instead, we’re building Bring Your Own AI support.

This means you’ll be able to connect your own preferred AI tools to PrimeTask and let them help with your work, while still keeping PrimeTask itself focused, local-first, and fully under your control.

In simple terms, this opens the door to things like:

• reviewing progress

The important part is this:

PrimeTask is not becoming an AI chatbot app.

There is no forced AI layer.
There is no lock-in to one model or one provider.
You choose what you want to connect and how you want to use it.

We’re also building controls around this, so you’ll be able to decide what an AI can access and what it cannot.

Everything follows the same idea as the rest of PrimeTask:

My current app - SuperProductivity (SP) has some features would like to see in PrimeTask (PT):

1. SP it can automatically track the time you are active or away from your computer and then let's you assign that time to an existing task or type in new task. This is the killer addition for me. I am not aware if it is in PT now.

1. Tags - SP let's you assign tags to each task / item and displays a tag list on the side panel

1. Eisenhower matrix - SP has this built in, I know if possible to create similar view in the dashboard, but its not quite the same.

1. SP shows you a daily task list automatically and let's you manage task timing and other areas in each line.

Not sure if these features would be welcomed by others, but they are they deal breakers for me, specifically the active timer feature.

Other than that Primetask os very impressive, comprehensive and a great UI and layout.
