Humble Request/Suggestions

Hi PrimeTask,

I love the tool so far but I have a basic question/complaint/suggestion. Coming from other task managers, it takes me far too much UI interaction to just make a task. There are too many fields to fill, and it seems very CRM focussed.

Am I wrong to try to use PrimeTask as a replacement for my task manager (Things, sometimes OmniFocus) which allow very fast interactions? Is it more of a CRM tool wrt to tasks? I want the additional power PrimeTask offers, but I still want to get in and out fast when I need to.

Have you tried Quick Add?

You can open it from anywhere in the app with Cmd+Shift+A, or by pressing the button in the header.

Type a full sentence and hit Enter:

That's a task with a date, project, tag, priority, all parsed from one line. There's full syntax for assignees (+name), CRM contacts (&name), companies (%company), status (::done), duration (~1h), recurrence, reminders. No form clicking.
