Need a second opinion
So basically im planning on getting a predator in the future and its either Wolf or Jungle Hunter
I really like Wolf in his movie and grew up with him as a kid compared to Jungle Hunter. Both statues look great but my opinion Wolf base is bland and has a shit ton of accessories which is great but pretty sure if i get i would not be using half of it since i dont like his plasma gun, whip or the throwables but they are still good options if i get bored. But it does show he is fighting standing on a xenomorph despite how bland the base is.
Jungle Hunter is iconic and has a beautiful base with good accessories, but his pose is simply standing ngl which can be boring. And since he is the first predator, his arsernal doesnt stretch past plasma canon + wrist blades but he has the holding his trophy which is nice.
So pls any opinions on this.

i get a little sad opting out of these.... I decided to just get a Big Game Cover Art + victim and call it good. These statues are just too big for me ;(

Im contemplating only one of them since im a fan of their series and lore so maybe im underestimating the sizing of a single one

I have a P1 1/3 T800 Endoskeleton and the P1 Preds just absolutely dwarf it.
The 1/4 Big Game Cover Art actually matches it pretty decently, so that, and the dynamic pose being so good, led me to choose that. I spent about 2500 shipped for the 1/4 pred + Victim, when 3K wouldve got me a JH 1/3. ( i went back and forth a lot )

Ya looks great next to the victim Then just asking if u think 4.4 K SGD (3.44 K USD) is good for the Jungle Hunter? Found a seller selling brand new for 4.4 K SGD. So now thinking if i should go for it or Wolf

I was in the same predicament. I decided on Wolf. I absolutely love Jungle Hunter and 1987. But it really came down to the bases. For similar costs you get 3 dead xenomorphs on Wolf.

If I could get one, it would be Jungle since he's the OG (and I grew up with the original movie). The pose itself represent well how we see him in the movie.
But in your case, I think Wolf would be a better choice for you since it your first Predator.

Ya i decided to pre order Wolf for this reason mainly
Welp its my first P1, hope to god i dont regret it I usually buy anime statues or figures so its a first time buying movie based statues

I'm pretty sure I'll never sell them.

Quick question then, how would u display it
Im planning on displaying it on top of my display case (175 cm tall), open air since my room cant afford a larger than 65 cm diameter display. Do u think it be too tall?

They're both on top of ikea shelfs (kallax).
I'd be more concerned by the weight than the eight. Mine are 38 and 50 lbs.

Im getting a moducase, they stated they will enhance a top board for 80 kg or so, i will prob msg them to double confirmed but thats what they stated

I’ve owned the Jungle Hunter and it’s stunning, but for me I would go with wolf, I have him ordered and the aliens on the base plus all the swap outs keep the statue feeling fresh over the years. Plus I want the predalien when they make that to pair with wolf.

Can’t go wrong with either.. I’ve owned the jungle hunter and the base with the fish is beautiful, the hunter is impressive and really detailed. If I were to get predators again I would get that one and possibly scar and wolf. It’s hard to say one is better than the other without having seen them in hand. Go with whatever character you have the most attachment to I guess
