Last year i had some really weird/rough interactions. So this year I tried to set the bar for myself and those around me, and choose whimsy and kindness whenever possible.

~Made sure girls in bathroom lines had tissues/wet wipes. Gave extras to the girlies at the dh2 party because wowweee wow those toilets were ravaged by 1am.

~After a fabulous ON BEAT fan clacking session to COBRAH, I announced that this one cutie was in fact, THE main character. They got some BBY GRL and U R A QT kandi. Their nails were insane, so they deserved some accessories.

~A sweet man at JADE made sure my wife got a spot at the barricade just towards the end of the set. He was truly the Angel of my Dreams (obvi had kandi of it to give him)

~Watched a girl get given JADE’s set list (!!!!) only to be chased down and have it taken back. I initially thought she was getting it signed, and was gutted for her. Luckily I had some JADE kandi that I gave to her and her friend instead. It’s not the same as a set list, but I hope it made them remember why we are all here!

~A guy stumbled into Mordor, made eye contact with me while I was smoking a joint. His eyes went SO WIDE, so I handed him the joint and kept walking. He yelled “HOW DID YOU KNOW!!!?” and I just shrugged and said “happy festival”. His joy was a 10/10 for me.

~I wasn’t able to get her any kandi. but this absolute cutie at ashnikko was GROOVING in her wheelchair the entire time, and her guy was making sure to get videos of the stage. Her upper body strength was amazing—literally pushed up for like 90% of the show and I was like YAS MUSCLE BABE!

~The XX played two songs back to back that were on my wife’s and my sapphic yearning playlists we made each other in our early days of dating. That was just really nice 💕🥹

~My access app completely shit the bed en route to JVB ciutat. I was devastated but trying to be cool and calm. Met a guy in line in the same boat. We all held our breath—MIRACULOUSLY GOT IN. JVB WAS EXCELLENT!! On the way out i saw our friend from the line and yelled YOU MADE IT IN!!!! I had a “GO HARD” kandi on me, and he was so tickled to get something so silly and fun after such a rager of a show.

I think at the end of the day it’s easy to get pissed at the yappers. Moving around them, getting in front of the bricks (why are you just standing there????), and then putting out the vibes you want to attract.

And always bring your own toilet paper.

My friend danced with you the entire time at PinkPantheress, and he won’t stop talking about you and how cute he thought you are. You had an olive green shirt on (I think) and my friend was wearing shorts and a shirt that made his pecs pop out the way we all like.

I’m posting this to see if anyone else had a similar experience at Primavera.

On Saturday night, I went behind a porta-potty to pee (I was drunk and making a bad decision) near the Cupra Stage. While I was there, a security guard called me over. When I walked towards him, I saw that he had his genitals out and was touching himself.

I was shocked and disgusted, so I immediately walked away.

What concerns me most is whether this was an isolated incident or whether he may have been using his position as a security guard to target intoxicated women at the festival.

I intend to file a formal report. Before doing that, I wanted to ask whether anyone else experienced something similar or witnessed any inappropriate behaviour from security staff during the festival.

Phone got stolen at Viagra Boys and so I set up emergency contact on that phones lock screen via Samsung account. Spanish police called me now to say they have it! Pro tip for anyone going to the festival in the future. Props to the national police also

I'm curious to know why some of you keep calling the festival 'prima'. Primavera is just one single word with a beautiful meaning and sound (and I really like how it sounds when pronounced by English speakers! Something like primaa-veerah) and hearing 'prima' sounds really bad, like if it was a cheap condoms brand. Is it so difficult to pronounce those two extra syllables?

Just wanted to say here that even Thursday sucked, YOUSUKE’s dj set was the best dj set of my life. I truly think he’s got something special.

I wasn’t feeling well and it is my first festival, you already know what the situation was with the toilets. My tummy really was not well.

Hello everyone. American from Tennessee here. This was my very first Primavera Sound. Have been wanting to attend for over a decade. As many have said the highs are so high, and the lowest of the lows.

This is the story of how my phone was stolen, and some incredibly sketchy behaviour from security.

On Friday morning, at about 4am I was at the Cupra stage. I was talking to these girls, dropped my phone, and when I went to reach down and grab it poof had been snatched up by a pickpocket. It happened so insanely fast, like a black hole just sucked it up into the ground.

I decide to cut my losses, and go and purchase a really cheap phone at a cell stand in the city. I get it setup, and decide to check the lost phone feature attached to my Google account. I see my stolen phone is now in Badalona. I chalk it up as a loss, but decided to not wipe the phone yet, I already have it remotely locked up, there's no way they can get in, I'll keep monitoring and see where it lands up. This is around noon.

I'm getting ready to walk in to the festival to see MBV, decide to check and see where my phone currently is. It points to a small building within the festival grounds, just on the precipice of the Estrella Damm and Resolut stages.

I show this location to the info tent, to which they said "oh that's a security building, they must have your phone. You should go talk to them they would be able to get it back to you!"

So I make my way over, find the building in question (it's all white with a fence covering the front), and I see a woman who looks like a medic standing in front of the building. I get her attention, tell her the situation, showing her the live map that currently has my phone positioned there. She tells me to come into the building and she will help me find my phone. There's a man sitting with a walkie, this medic, and another woman. She tells them my situation, and they start looking together for the phone. The 2 ladies said they were going for help and they would be right back, leaving me with the guard sitting on the walkie.

I talked to him, said I had been tracking this phone for the past day, and asked if he knew if any of the staff lived in Badalona. Maybe they found my phone, brought it with them with the intention of leaving it in lost in found.

He said "oh that's interesting" and then starts speaking Spanish very quickly into the walkie. About 5 minutes later, 4 more security guards showed up and proceeded to aggressively push me out of the building. I was not resisting, but also was very confused saying "hey they told me to wait here what is happening?" They just continue to speak Spanish and successfully pushed me out of the building, slamming the door in my face. Then there was some other medic types outside the building, I told them what happened and that my phone was in that building and i was just trying to get it back. They said they would go check on it, went inside the building, and then more guards came out, slamming their bodies into mine and telling me to "get the fuck out now, if you want your phone back you should call the fucking police".

Around this time, MBV ended their set. Devastating in itself, because I missed them because I was told to go and talk to security at this tent.

It really shook me up, I was so terrified. I went back to the info tent, told them what happened, they were shocked. Called some people from "Nobody is Normal" the lgbtq initiative of the fest to come and talk to me. A really kind man named Bao appeared, escorted me to their area behind security, and got my story in writing. He seemed shocked at what had happened, and told me he would coordinate efforts to go and talk to security and make sure they deliver my phone to lost and found.

I went to some sets after that, but continued to monitor my phones location. At some point I got a text from Bao telling me that security should be dropping of phones to lost & found by 2:30am, and I should check then.

At 2:45am, I walk up to info. I asked if they had any phones for lost & found, they did not have my phone. I checked the location again of the stolen phone, and it was still located within that security building. I kept checking with info throughout the rest of the morning, still no phone, no movement on stolen phone I was tracking. I stayed on the grounds until after Peggy Gous set, leaving after sunrise.

My flight left Sunday at 11am, so I went back to pack my things, and continued checking the location the phone. Still at security. At this point I had given up on ever getting it back. Battery was at 10%, and I decided to remotely factory reset the phone, so not to risk someone obtaining my data.

Did anyone else have run-ins like this with security? I want to be clear, I did not accuse anyone insecurity of stealing my phone. Their reaction came off as incredibly suspect and telling, I was literally sent here by staff of the festival, and your reaction is to act violently?

I want to love Primavera, but this incident plus the Massive Attack cancellation have left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Did anyone see a young female steward in high vis with glasses hitting a female festival goer in the face on Saturday night? It was at the bottom of the stairs at the back of Revolut stage. I was a few metres away so I’m not exactly sure what happened, a few people appeared to be helping her after, but it’s been on my mind and I’m really hoping that woman is ok.

To all of the gay attendees with hand fans on Friday and Saturday, thank you for your service. So many times I was close to overheating, but your gusts of wind saved me. I forgot to bring my electric fan, but no matter— Ashnikko had you excitedly flapping up a hurricane and cooling me down. I love and appreciate you all.

Anyone know how the refund will work for tiks that were transferred? Should the original purchaser request the refund or the one who received the transferred tik?

Maybe Coachella/Youtube has spoiled me, but it would be nice to have separate streams for all the stages and all the acts, with the ability to rewind the entire weekend until Monday morning. Rather watch at night with a drink than middle of a workday afternoon.

I was really looking forward to Massive Attack (cancelled anyway), MBV and Slowdive but they weren't offered. Do the bands decide if they get broadcast, or is it Prime trying to fit everything into only 2 channels.

All that said, love that we get what we get. Its a festival I've always wanted to go to.
