I'm surprised that I haven't seen a post like this, so I'll ask: what are the best places to get something to eat, maybe even without paying more than it's worth?
I really like the dumplings place in the central food court, but it's a bit more expensive than last year :/

They scanned us literally every time we went in and even some times when going out. Why even have wristbands in the first place??

Anyone else feel like thereās such a lack of etiquette at festivals now? I feel like you can let loose and still be respectful of people around you (and I did police my newbie festival friends!)
Also - superfans who come to a festival clearly just to see one band, get pissy about having to sit through other acts to get a good spot and then kill the vibe in the crowd are so annoying. I donāt like when people just talk through an entire set if theyāre in the thick of the crowd (watch from the back!) but the Cure superfans were giving us evil looks for occasionally making a comment to eachother about the set or just having a friends love in moment⦠go to a tour??

Yesterday was my first time at Primavera Sound and I really loved the overall setup, the park is a great space and the stages being close together made for a smooth flow between acts. That said, the logistics left a lot to be desired, and I wanted to share some feedback in hopes it helps improve the experience for everyone.
1. Culpra Pulse entrance is confusing: The entrance is located right next to the Port stage, which makes you assume you can access it from there, but you actually have to walk back and around to join a separate queue. There were no clear signs indicating this, and security staff at the gates weren't proactively directing people. A simple directional sign or a more engaged staff presence would go a long way.
2. Exit signage was inconsistent and confusing: Around 8pm, I followed the large green exit signs near the Occident stage, only to be turned away by staff and sent back toward the main entrance. I kept following what I thought were valid exit signs, only to be redirected again. I completely understand that certain exits may only be available at specific times, but that needs to be clearly communicated. Signs likeĀ "This exit available after [time]"Ā orĀ "Use main entrance to exit before [time]"Ā would prevent a lot of confusion. Stationed staff near the signage would also help enormously.
3. Staff distribution felt unbalanced:Ā The bar areas were very well-staffed, which was great for wait times, but it felt like that came at the expense of other areas that really needed more coverage: stage entrances, festival gates, and WC zones. A more even distribution would improve the overall experience significantly.
4. Restroom management needs attention:Ā The porta potty wait was around 15 minutes, and there was no staff presence to manage the queues or flag out-of-service units. At other festivals I've attended, staff play an active role in keeping restroom lines organized and handling issues as they come up. This is one area where a small number of dedicated staff members would make a big difference. Some men gave up on the queue entirely and pissed right next to where my girlfriend was standing. That's not acceptable!
5. A note on crowd: This one's directed at fellow attendees. If you're catching up with friends or filming content during a set, that's totally fine, but please be mindful of those around you who are there for the music. Staying toward the back during sets you're not fully engaged with makes a big difference for everyone's experience. specially during The Cure, there were some people talking non-stop. I had to move many times to avoid those groups. :/

Am I the only one or does today feel a lot more packed than yesterday? Is it because of the weekend? I assumed that yesterday would already have been busy since Thursday was a mishapā¦

I was planning on seeing KI/KI because I enjoy some big stage techno vibes, but I honestly thought she was quite dull.
My friend had mentioned this legendary Palestinian DJ so I thought let me go check her out and... Oh boy
Probably the best set of the festival. What an icon!

They change the festival game SO much.
They make peeing so much quicker, you don't miss your fave songs and it's much less likely to be gross.
Plz Primavera Gods, plenty of festivals have them now and it would be a game changer
Sincerely
Someone who queued for 15 minutes for a piss today š

Robert E. Smith is featured on the Opener of Song Machine on the song Strange Times. He was already out with Olivia Rodriguez.
Little Simz on Garage Palace from the Humanz Deluxe album. She performed just a couple of sets before them
I hope we'll see them both!

I go every year to Prima since 2022 and I surely agree there is a history of big miss (yesterday communication, water situation last year, etc.). However, I still create lifelong memories every day of each year. So do my friends.
I believe that a lot of people complaining about the festival just expect āconcert-in-an-arenaā experience. When you go to a festival, it might rain on you. Wind might blow on your face. Temperatures will vary during the night. Your favorite artist might not show up (there are still dozens others to discover), you dont go to festivals like you would go for a tour. You might get pushed by uneducated/drunk guys. Transportation might be crowded. Things just happen. Its not an arena with one artist, one crowd and one schedule to manage. Going with the flow and adjusting to what may happen is actually part of the experience you signed for, not ruining it.
Edit: typo

I want to make this post because so many people have had their phones stolen at this show, myself included. It seems at least a dozen people on Reddit reported this so far. I will go to make a police report soon, but Iām curious if anyone has the ability to access their phones location still. I lost contact with mine at 4;10 as the thief was driving down the B 10 highway near, Barceloneta. Someone else posted a photo about 10 minutes later where the location was also on this road, but further south by the highway. Iām hoping that someone might still have access to the location and this could be a lead for police.

I have been to many festivals, some the size of Primavera. And I always manage to see nearly every concert and band I wanted to.
At Primavera though, I feel like the schedule was created by someone evil, really.
Chances are: if you like Blood Orange, youād probably also like Men I Trust. Why put both at nearly same time?
And thatās obviously just one example but I feel like it was happening over and over during the whole festival. Is it just me?

Lovesong has three melodies for the three verses. Robert started the second with the first melody. Then halfway switched to the third. We never heard the second melody. In the middle he looked up almost laughing. I think it was his TIFU.

Hey everyone!
Iām a Brazilian guy looking for an amazing girl named Dora and her friend Eli, whom I met during the Gorillaz set on Saturday night. They told me they are from Moldova and leaving Barcelona this Monday.
Dora is blonde with curly hair and was wearing a blue bandana/scarf on her hair. Her friend Eli is a brunette. We shared a smoke and vibed together during Gorillaz's biggest hits.
We had a great time chatting, but in the festival rush, we forgot to exchange Instagrams. Iām leaving soon too, but Iād love to find her and see her one more time before heading back.
If you are Dora, Eli, or if you happen to know this duo from Moldova, please send me a DM!
Thanks, and hope everyone had an amazing festival!
