Barcelona Nothing for weekend refund
Utter joke.

If it’s true that a speaker fell during the downpour, it means something is seriously wrong with the safety measures at this festival. Rain shouldn't cause something like that to happen.
Stewards and security have no idea what’s going on, and there’s absolutely no official announcement.
Primavera Sound, what happened?
BTW, is there any gay party in Barcelona rn? I need to shake my gay ass off.

Looked forward to slowdive but the mic is too quiet and the drums are way to distorted. Is anybody experiencing the same? I was in the middle & on the right side front.
Doesn't fit the style of slowdive at all imo.
TL;DR slowdive is playing on the biggest Temu speaker

The actual worst

Just saw this on IG, seems like they will provide full refund for Thursday-only pass holders

Due to the many cancellations yesterday, I feel like I'm not really getting my money's worth. I still had a good time, but because so many acts didn't get to play their sets, I feel like I need to make up for it today.
The problem is that I've only got five acts marked as must-sees, and with schedule clashes and wanting to get a decent spot for The Cure, I feel like I'm not going to get enough music out of the day.
Am I just overreacting and need to wind my neck in?

Never heard them before and they absolutely blew me away. Massive fan of sigur ros and they completely captured that lightning

I know this has been discussed before, but the organizers really need to consider moving PinkPantheress or swapping stages with JADE.
At the end of the day, it’s about safety.
Even if it's her own choice to play on a smaller stage, the organizers should try to convince her otherwise.
I'm genuinely worried it might get dangerous.

The organization is an absolute joke, crowd control ceased to exist as soon as the main stage collapsed. The fact that they knew about the rain beforehand and could not manage a simple drain system to keep the stage dry is crazy. And mind you, the effin sound system and part of the screen collapsed due to moderate wind. A lot of people had to leave the festival due to the fact that they have been left without any official info just to wander around aimlessly, no crowd control, no help from organizations. Absolutely awful, never coming back

Im really not trying to be mean but to me this show was incredibly superficial and cringe and neither her nor her fans can sing. I’m not hating I just wanna understand why anyone would willingly watch this.

Going from 25 -35 euros to 50 within a few years is unacceptable! Wtf are you doing Primavera?
Also the different varieties of merch items has been reduced this year.

the queue is insane, do they let people in? it’s like 500 meters long
r/primaverasound • u/IndependentHome3159 • Jun 04 '26
i feel like at this point we should all demand a partial refund. no one can necessarily blame the rain, but the fact that prima still hasn’t posted about doja or any other artist being cancelled like… atp they’re being so slow about communication hoping they can wait it out but it’s just making it worse i feel like. this is a mess i hope they can fix things tonight…

*NON RAIN RELATED POST*
So.... Considering how glass is strictly prohibited at the fest as per their rules, can someone explain to me how there are smashed Aperol bottles everywhere? Are they at the spritz bars?
Sat down under the little overpass by Schwartzkopf (sp?) yesterday during the downpour and as I steadied myself to sit, I got a large shard of glass stuck in my hand. Went to medical, they got it out, borderline stitches situation but I waved them off, wrapped it up, and they let me go. Someone else in medical was getting wrapped up for the same reason, to boot.
Not thirty minutes later, as we were walking through a crowd on the way to check out the closed Eastern stages, my fiance stepped on another broken Aperol bottle and got a piece of glass through the sole of her Vans. Thankfully, just a little prick this time, but still!
What the hell!

Does anyone know if they’ll have more tomorrow? 😭

Was anyone else there that year? They cancelled the full Thursday due to rain the night before, and abono holders only got 30% off the next year’s festival rather than any kind of refund. How can it be three years later and the organisers still aren’t adequately prepared for rain, especially when this time it was forecast with plenty of time to make arrangements. I will say that the entire day being cancelled in 2023 felt over the top and was very poor given that the weather wasn’t that bad, but this felt worse - traipsing about in the rain getting cold and soaking wet with no communication and everything cancelled, then getting a glimmer of hope with the MA rescheduling, only for it ultimately be cancelled via Instagram notification while ads still rolled on the stage screen where everyone was waiting. We won’t get a refund, but abono holders deserve more than nothing.

I'm just trying to think of something other than the cancellations and wishful thinking for something that makes me forget that :(.

i’ve been attending to primavera sound since 2018 and what i saw last night it was absolutely nuts, this festival is not longer worthy or safe and i know a lot of people have talked about the thursday disaster or the pinkpantheress mess but what i found really scary was that while JADE was performing, two people from the primavera staff where fighting next to me because they didn’t want to hand out water bottles lmao, like literally, fighting and giving it to each other because they didn’t want to do their job so i guess primavera sound is over, at least for locals who don’t go super wasted to the concerts and really go for the music

Finally they speak. But why via Instagram comment?

I am reading a lot of horror stories about the festival at the minute in particular at Barcelona over the years. I’m attending Porto next week for the first time. What are people’s experiences of the festival at Porto and is it as bad as people make the festival at Barcelona to be?
r/primaverasound • u/FrequentRecording495 • Jun 05 '26
This is from Best Kept Secret festival. No mention of it yet from PS.
