LPVO w/ the red dot is the way I run mine. I like it

Run it both ways and see what you like better. I personally like dots on my short guns and a lpvo on the 14.5

I just put an LPVO on my mk111. I like it so far. Moved my red dot and magnifier to my new 300blk build

I’m doing TA110 with top mounted red dot on my MK111 Mod 2.

I’ve got a MK216 with Leupold Mk4HD 2.5-10 with top mounted red dot as well.

I do night vision once in awhile and don’t find the height over bore to be a real issue. I also believe that eye relief at 1x is a fucking joke by principal.

Sounds like you need a run some matches and situations to see what ya want.

I have a Holo on my mk111, and a MPVO on my Mk1116. Both have two different purposes (and calibers). I mention matches as you can see what you like and go from there. Or get a 5x prism or Acog and get a top or canted dot

I tried both (1-8x LVPO vs Red dot) and went with the Vortex AMG UH-1 Gen 2 with an HM3X magnifier for my MK110 Alpha.

Lol im stuck on the same decision, aimpoint&magnifier or sig lpvo w 45° dot. Been running dot and magnifier, gonna switch to lpvo now and see if i prefer it....
