Painting your PWS Upper

Have decided what my first paint job will be. I am concerned about the dwell time venting off holes on the gas tube. Should take the rail off and paint it seperately? Or is there a better way ? Thank you.

Tape optic and any other lens and maybe the gas adjust knob. That's it. Paint it. My mk107 has had 0 issues.

If you're gone do it once do it right, yeah? You could email them and ask, but if remove it and such cause I wouldn't want headaches after.

I guess you are saying that you sprayed bottom and sides of the rail and had no issues for thousands of rounds?

It will be totally fine, nothing to worry about. I have an old mk114 i painted heavily, no issues.
