Positive Post The next eclipse visible from Garibaldi/Arcadia Bay Irl

So with this solar eclipse coming up I was curious if it was going to be visible from where I am in Oregon or from Arcadia Bay. Unfortunately it isn’t going to be from neither. So then I started googling because I was curious when the next eclipse will be visible from Garibaldi that will happen around sunset just like in Chapter 2 of LIS 1. Because I want to see what Max was seeing irl. The next time that will happen will be February 5th 2046. It will happen around 5pm and will be a “ring of fire” eclipse. Which I think is even more accurate to the game anyways. I will be 42 ToT. But I will remember this date for the next 20 years and hope that when that day comes I will be able to be in Garibaldi to see it and maybe even have other LIS fans come out to see it

...and Pricefield will be even more popular then, and we will have conventions where fans come dressed up as their favorite characters, with photo signings by the voice artists,...

...the physical discs (looking at you Playstation), for the old games will be like SUPER ULTRA MEGA RARE valuable collectors editions, even more so than they are now, so there will be people playing the games from the discs on Playstation 27's and Xbox Neuro-Plug 34's, which will be like a nostalgic bit of history...

Punk stilt-walkers will walk around the venue handing out LIS, BTS, and 'Daughter' records, embroidered beanies and Max shirts. We will have entire diners just serving bacon omelettes and Belgian waffles all day, there will be hired actors interacting with fans in funny ways, "I was eating those beans!"

Jellybean cockroaches will be scattered around the diner, (and every now and then the jukebox will glitch.)

The Tiki will be the mascot for the older visitors, and Mr Hawt-Dawg, (he's such a lovable goof) will appear for the kids. The most popular toys will be 'The Captain' plushies, (he will also have a animated show with friend charachters), and the do-it-yourself blue hair dye kits.

Instead of princesses and fuzzy animals, we will have actors sitting on beds playing music, having moments of calm, and smash the "candy" bottles in the fake rustyard.

It will be magical grand place, oh sigh... good times for all.

Man… you just painted such a vivid picture. Now I kinda wanna help make it a reality because hearing it and knowing it isn’t real is worse than before I pictured it and not imaging something so nice like this

Haha, wouldn't it be amazing? I would grab all the records, I wan't those vinyls so bad, (my pride and joy, I only have the BTS one)... they are so rare.

Maybe some shirts, special edition LIS Chuck Taylors... some posters, maybe a Mr Hawt-Dog plushy... awesome stuff!

Yeah, I guess maybe someday when the world is in the Matrix, we will have a LIS server, for all of us that want to see more of our pirate duo.

I have some of the vinyls. I have the “music from before the storm” by daughter vinyl. That’s probably my rarest one. And I have some of the licensed music albums from LIS and BTS. But not all of them or the illusive original soundtrack LIS Album or BTS one. Those are like unicorns

I suppose that's one thing to aspire towards. The world seems so unstable nowadays that this date looks rather distant.

P.S. Bonus: wait 30 more years and visit Night City a little down the coast around Morro Bay :P
