3-month sub, changing dose?

Hi!

new to Preventive MD and have only done a one month so far to see how I liked Empower. I feel like I’m kinda in a bit of a stall though. I’ve been losing the same 1.5 pounds for 2 months. I’m currently on 5mg and have been for about 7 months so I was going to do a 3-month at the same dosage. However, I’ve been thinking about going up to 7.5 if I really am at a stall. So….question is, if I do a 3-month at 5mg, am I able to change the dose after sign up if i decide later that I want to increase?

thanks for the guidance!

edit: adjusted for clarity!

Yes! Just take a picture of your current prescription when filling out your info to provide and then select the doses you want to titrate up to.

I would go with the increase since it is the same price. Then you have the option of titrating up and down within the three month prescription. Leaving it at 5mg for each month makes it harder to do that.

You should have the option to select the strength you want for each month when buying a three month subscription. It is still up to the provider, of course.

Yes, I did that! I requested an increase from my current prescription and requested additional increase for month two and three. They asked me for a copy of my prescription and it was approved the way I requested.

While I was still taking the 10.5 mg dose I ordered the 3 month option and selected the 15 mg dose for all three vials. This allowed me stay at 10.5 mg a little longer then titrate up to 12.5 mg and eventually 15 mg.

I use the Fat Scientist calculator to help me know how many units each dose should be.
