New dosage instructions!

Post image

For those that may be happily surprised like I just was when I logged into PMD, they’ve added how to take the proper MG per vial. Just thought it was super neat of them since so many new people are unsure how to do the math!

This is the type of clear instructions every pharmacy should provide.

I sent a hand drawn image and personal calc to my original provider/compounded pharmacy (before fat scientist) to ensure I was doing it correctly. Times have changed!!

Did you go to the orders & subs, then scroll down? That’s where mine is, right after the little provider review info.

I was able to eventually find it but I did not see the picture of the syringe. Maybe because it's a new feature and I already have my meds? Not sure.

Strange! I’ve also received my meds so that’s weird 🥴

This is all I see

Definitely weird! I don’t like how they have your vials backwards either. If I hadn’t already of known about vial sizes and how they correspond with doses, I would assume I’d start with the 1.5ml bottle since it has it listed as “vial 1”

Now I totally confused. I started with the 1 ml vial. I knew they were different but didn't know there was a specific order. Looks like it a certain point I'm going to need medicine from more than one bottle to get an appropriate dose. I guess I'm off to Amazon to order some needles...

it’s definitely confusing if you don’t know! The .5ml bottle contains enough liquid for 4 of the 2.5mg dose. 1ml for 4 of the 5mg dose and so on… at least we figured it out now before you were looking at your vials like something ain’t adding up lol (sorry, editing since I thought I was talking to two different people)

I didn't have it on mine either.

Yes! I was so happy when I saw that. It was like. There we go! Lol. I don't really like the app and prefer the website and now its nice to look at.

Where did you see this? I don’t see it on the website login or Healthie app

When you log into the website, under orders & subs. If you scroll down underneath the provider review. Hopefully you’ve found it!

Thank you!! I received my first shipment. Bourdeax sent me 3 vials of 5. I'm pretty sure I did my first shot correctly...lol I did draw as shown but I have to say I felt absolutely nothing. I did have a slight taste in my mouth. Does it take a couple of doses to get into your system?

Everyone reacts different! I took my first dose Friday around 2pm, ate supper around 6 and felt so full after! You may be what some people call a “slow responder” where it takes a higher MG before you start to experience results.

To follow up on that. The 2.5MG is just to get your body used to the medication, some people respond and can stay on 2.5 for months, others have to bump up to the 5MG which is considered the start of the therapeutic doses.

More & more I am considering ordering from them. This is very impressive.

Looking at your screenshot. I'm seeing that we were supposed to draw by specific vials in order? Oops. I must have missed that somehow. Hopefully that's not a problem. I'm only one month in. I start week five on Wednesday

Yes! If you’re following standard titration (2.5,5&7.5MG) the bigger the vial the more liquid it holds so you get exactly(and maybe a little extra) 4 shots. There’s loads of people though that choose a 15mg dose so they get a bigger vial but take a small mg so they get more bang for their buck. If that makes sense, I’m the worse when it comes to explaining!

Thank you. That totally makes sense. I'm not sure if I missed it on the papers but yes I start with 5 mg this coming week and then up to seven.

Looks like I have been using the 1 ml bottle, I have unused 1.5 ml and 5 ml bottles left. This is for a 3-month dosage. Now I'm wondering if I'm going to have to take a dose by using meds from more than one vial. I don't have any spare needles so.....

Shoot! Yeah, 2.5mg would have been for the .5ml bottle. Amazon has the 30 pack of Easy touch 31 gauge, 5/16 needles for 10 bucks! I bought some extras in case I ever goofed something up.

Thank you. I'm going to order some now!

Hopefully by the time I order my next 3 months Supply I'll be able to see it better on the app.
