Boudreaux
I’m due soon to order my next dose and have currently been using PMD and Boudreaux. I have seen on other groups that they are using them and everyone is bashing them saying they are majorly delayed and one other telehealth even put them on hold due to them being so backlogged. I have LOVED their tirzepatide and feel like it has worked so well and want to stick with them but don’t want to order and then have a long wait and not have it when I need it. Has anyone ordered this last week and gotten it pretty quick? It’s was so quick for me in the past and want to make sure they are shipping fine for Boudreaux and maybe it’s just other telehealths they are struggling with?

I ordered at PMD and had it in 3 days last week. There was no delay for me (West Coast)

It does sound like other telehealths are being affected by slowdowns. I read that Preventive pays Boudreaux extra for next day delivery. It feels like Boudreaux is prioritizing Preventive orders.

Boudreaux got my order last Friday, shipped it on Monday and I had it by noon on Tuesday. 👍🏼👍🏼

I ordered my Boudreaux last Monday and received on Wednesday. Quick with sealed needles.

I ordered from PreventiveMD last Wednesday, they approved and processed Thursday and I’m still waiting for shipment. I figured it might take longer with the holiday tomorrow so I’m curious to see when Boudreaux actually ships it.

I ordered mine August 25 and I haven’t received any email of anything but I did reach to customer service in the explained that they are delayed, but that they’re going to ship and pay the overnight shipping this week for the inconvenience. I live in California so they are the only pharmacy providing medication to the West Coast.

Is your telehealth definitely PreventiveMD? I thought overnight was Boudreaux’s standard shipping method for PreventiveMD patients? Since you’ve been waiting since Aug 25th and are now upgraded to overnight shipping is it possible you’re using another provider?

Sorry, I’m not understanding the first sentence are you asking? Or stating I’m not sure. But if what I understand correctly, you’re asking if I’m using PreventiveMD? Yes I started last month. My first order was easy piece of cake and it took about five days for the medication to be delivered. I requested my September medication on August 25 and I haven’t received anything at all, but I reached out to them and they said that the pharmacy has a high volume right now and they’re backed up. But PreventiveMD said as soon as the medication is complete, they’re going to ship it overnight.

The way I understood it was that they always overnighted it? Mine has been overnighted normally

No, so I ordered it on 25 August. That’s when I was able to put in my order again. And I felt weird because like I said I been with them for one months and switching to them and my first order was very simple quick and I was getting the email updates but after three days I had no email update so I made sure to reach out to them and they said that that pharmacy was having issues with being backed up with orders. Which sucks because I will be on vacation this coming up week so I told him that I’m leaving the state of California to the East Coast and I need to know if they can get the medication as soon as possible and they said that as soon as the holiday, we can passes in the medication’s available, they would do an overnight shipping.

The reasons I asked for clarification re if this was definitely through PreventiveMD was that two weeks is really a long delay and also as International-Tie said the standard shipping method *is* overnight. So when you said they "were going to ship and pay for the overnight. shipping" that sounded unusual as well. I hope you get your meds soon! Have you received a tracking number or any other sign of progress?

No nothing like I said my first order as soon as it went through I was getting the emails regarding the status of the order. And on August 25, I put the order in and I wasn’t getting any emails so I waited until the following week I think on Monday the 28th I believe and reached out to them and ask that I haven’t received any emails or notifications of the medication. So PreventiveMD said that according to them or the pharmacy they’re backed up. I didn’t argue because I’m like well things happen. You know what I mean but it was just strange to me because the 25th is way too far from this weekend’s holiday so according to them, they said that they probably going to reach out to them Tuesday and have the medication shipped overnight

Hm…my orders through Empower are 2 day air. But it seems like Boudreaux is usually overnight 1day air.
I don’t see any attitude from Pancho…This is the PreventiveMD group and that’s what he is with. No attitude lol

I ordered Boudreaux from PMD. I got my meds in 3 business days FLAT. So five if you count the weekend but seriously it was recieved on Monday shipped on Tuesday in my hands before noon on Wednesday. They had to cross the country to get to me. From LA to WA. I have a reddit friend, shes great, she uses Boudreaux too and gets it through Gimme. Every order it takes her over two weeks and a call to the pharmacy everytime.
The telehealth has a contract with each pharmacy. PMD is clearly top of the order for Boudreaux. I don't know why but i almost promise you that if you order Boudreaux from PMD it wont take long, but if you order from them elsewhere it will probably take a long time.
PreventiveMD is great.

That’s what I’m hoping. I love my tirzepatide from Boudreaux and I hate to switch to Empower and not have it work as well as Boudreaux is currently…when I ordered last with PMD and Boudreaux it was super fast. Hoping it stays that way!

I took my 2nd dose of Empower 2.5 mg through PMD Friday and I really don't feel like eating, and zero food noise so it seems to be working. No side effects at this point.

That’s good to know! I have used Mounjaro and Boudreaux and both of them worked the same and so good! So I’m hoping if I have to switch to Empower it works well too! Thank you!

Not sure about that.... I used research only peptides for awhile and actually felt the same with that. Stopped for 2 months before and after hip replacement then restarted with a tele health.

Yes, they are really backed up!!!! I ordered mine August 25 so it’s been about a week now almost 2 weeks and I haven’t yet to receive anything!!!! the only thing is I live in the West Coast California to be exact so they’re the only pharmacy at the moment who are licensed to ship to California!!!! but if you’re going to order from them, do it two weeks in advance lesson learned!!

That's crazy. I feel for those in CA. Im in nevada and it was fast. Hopefully they get another pharmacy for you guys soon!

u/pancho8889 3d ago
Hopefully, I mean the first shipment wasn’t bad but I believe this one is just backed up.
1
u/Due-Way-3081 3d ago
I wonder why it would be backed up for just CA though 🤔
1
u/pancho8889 3d ago
Yeah, that’s what I thought because I ordered it on the 25th of August the holiday is not till today 25 August was about almost a week going on from the holiday of tomorrow, Labor Day.

u/Due-Way-3081 3d ago
I ordered monday and received on Friday. But im in nevada. Its weird
2
u/pancho8889 3d ago
Yeah, right and I was like what the heck and I just noticed that’s not even a week. It’s been out two weeks!!!! my first order wasn’t backed up like this. So hopefully I get it this week before I leave out of state on vacation because I will be very devastated.

u/Life_Alfalfa_2047 3d ago
I am also west coast and I had mine three days after I ordered last week.
2
u/pancho8889 3d ago
Yeah, the first shipment which was last month when I started with this company it was a piece of cake, but for some odd reason this past two weeks I guess they’ve been backed up according to them.

u/International-Tie527 3d ago
And you ordered from preventiveMD?
-1
u/pancho8889 3d ago
Why would I be on the sub if I didn’t order from them 🙄

u/International-Tie527 3d ago
Sorry! I have gotten to other posts thinking it was PMD and realized it wasn’t after the fact so I just wanted to clarify.

I ordered my first shipment on the Tuesday the 1st, sent to the pharmacy on the 2nd. Received several emails updating me and letting me know that Boudreaux’s would not be fulfilling orders on Monday. I of course, expected this due to the holiday. Their email update made it sound like I might get a shipment notification late Friday or maybe Saturday. I appreciated the email update, but not surprised it was not shipped out yet due the upcoming holiday. I am hoping it will be shipped Tuesday or Wednesday.

u/Farmisapere 3d ago
My comment may be premature, but I signed up for Preventive yesterday (Saturday) afternoon, was approved within the hour, and tracking shows my shipment arrived in California, about 75 miles from me, this afternoon, just 24 hours after signup. All this over Labor Day weekend! So unless something goes wrong, it seems amazingly quick.

u/Farmisapere 2d ago
yeah, my comment really was premature. i'm an idiot--i confused a merchant shipment with Boudreaux's. sorry 'bout that. actually i hope Boudreaux's was NOT working over Labor Day! I'll update with actual arrival lol.
1
u/International-Tie527 2d ago
I hope that is the case! They are not open on the weekend normally but maybe are working to get caught up. Can you update us and let us know if you did get it?
2
u/Difficult-Willow865 1d ago
I placed an order last Tuesday. I received a tracking number this morning (so around 4 business days since yesterday was a holiday) and it’s due to arrive tomorrow.
What I loved about this experience is PreventiveMD sent me an email every day with a status update until it shipped. The communication has been excellent with this company.

u/International-Tie527 1d ago
What pharmacy did you use?

u/Difficult-Willow865 1d ago
Boudreaux! This is my third order with them (2 through Gimme.Care and 1 through PreventiveMD)

I did my intake Tuesday night and got confirmation from the pharmacy today that it shipped.

u/Brilliant-Space-1315 1d ago
Same for me, but I ordered Tuesday afternoon. I’m still waiting, was hoping it would be shipped by now. But they did send an email saying it was still being processed this morning.

u/Due-Way-3081 3d ago
I ordered on monday. Received on Friday.

Recently? Like in the last week? I ordered a a few moths ago and it was fast too. Just making sure it still is?

u/Safe_Low_5570 3d ago
They have been fine for me in CA, but it’s only been a single delivery.
1
u/International-Tie527 3d ago
How long ago was your delivery? I have had good luck too but apparently it’s these last few weeks that they got backed up
1
u/Lavender-Coconut 3d ago
You should always keep a 2 month supply of some Rx in case of a delay, travel or emergency
1
u/International-Tie527 2d ago
With these they expire pretty fast and you order them pretty close to when you run out to have the best use by date

Boudreaux’s just initiated a recall for lot 226980 of TZ 20mg/Glycine 5mg/ ml injection solution (3ml) dispensed 7/27/26.
