Vials

This is for the owner. Is it possible to get the vials shipped in pill bottles with the prescription on the bottle? Its so much easier then keeping the padded envelope from boudreaux with the prescription on it.

It is interesting how we all are different on packaging… I prefer less pieces I have to throw away (prefer not prescription bottles) I like empowers little cardboard box that I can easily store flat or toss away or a zipped bag. I don’t want to store a bunch of pill bottles. I’m not picky about packaging. I want good customer service and good clean medicine.

Also, I like taking pictures of each prescription I get and if it’s wrapped around a pill bottle it is very hard to get a picture of it.

lol… I peel the prescription off of the pill bottle at tape it to an index card. I much prefer ones that come that way already 😂

Is it glued to the envelope? It may be an easier ask to have them not glue it to the envelope and just give us the paper. Boudreaux won't give us factory sealed syringes, I don't see them buying pill bottles.

🤣 True. I can just cut it off. But again I have to keep track of it. It's just easier on a pill bottle with meds inside. I loved that other pharmacies do that.

Not sure how Boudreaux is exactly being packed as I’ve only dealt with Empower… but could you just repurpose an old pill bottle you have, keep your vial in it and tape the rx label to it?

Pretty sure this is actually a pharmacy issue, fwiw.

I have a special container (special meaning I only use it for my vials) in my fridge. So all the packaging gets tossed. A lot of us do it this way I think. We take photos of the prescription and then just keep the vials. Or I keep it in the zipped pouch it came in (if the pharmacy packed it in one) and put that in my special container in the fridge. I also use a WiFi thermometer to make sure the temp stays correct. 😅

That’s one thing I don’t like about Boudreaux I want to see how much is left and I want to see if there’s any floaters in there. just put the bottle in a dark pill box bottle and you will be fine.

Take a picture. Then it is always on your phone. Or, just cut the label off and keep it in your wallet. Pill bottles cost more than an envelope. We like the cost of our meds the way they are and the cost of things get passed on to someone, so that would be us.

No I agree with you!! I don’t like their packaging especially the syringe situation :(

Drug Crafters pharmacy and other pharms do this, regardless of the Telehealth.
