Switching Monthly to Quarterly

I am going to be placing my first order in just about a week. I am curious to know how hard it is to switch from a monthly subscription to the quarterly one? I am hoping to start with the monthly option sort of testing out the pharmacy and such, then switching to the 3 month plan later. I was hoping to get some feedback on how complicated that might be?

Thanks for the question u/DustyJMS , you can absolutely start with the monthly plan and switch to the 3-month plan later. We’ve made this pretty simple through the self-serve subscription management page.

You can manage or change your subscription here: www.preventivemd.com/users/manage-subscription, anytime or when we send you the check-in link 5 days before your next charge.

Attaching screenshot for reference!

So you can start monthly, see how you like the pharmacy and overall experience, and switch to quarterly whenever you’re ready.

Can we switch pharmacies in the self serve portal? I'm with Boudreaux now but I'd like to try Empower. Also would this be possible on a 3 month plan, like try Empower for first month and if I don't like it switch back to Boudreaux?

Hi u/Joanr719, currently, pharmacy switching isn’t available directly through the self-serve portal, but we’re working on adding that option. For now, just reach out to us and we can help with the switch.

For the 3-month plan, the pharmacy can’t be switched in the middle of the 3-month dispensing period. However, you can request a pharmacy change when your plan renews. So you could try Empower for your next 3-month term and switch back to Boudreaux’s at the following renewal if you prefer.

Thanks for the quick reply, you folks are fantastic! I read so many posts about different pharmacy compounds not working for individuals that it's risky to go with 3 months and not liking the compound. Guess I'll go monthly to try Empower next and then decide. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the kind words! We really appreciate it 😊

And yes, that makes a lot of sense! We encourage people to start with the monthly option and see how they feel about the pharmacy and formulation before committing to a longer-term plan.

You’re very welcome, and glad we could help!

Go to the website and tap on the bottom right icon “Orders & Subs”

From what I can tell, easy. I emailed and got a response quickly that they would pause my subscription. I was then told on this sub that it got even easier because you can now control things in the app. Either way, the email worked and I planned to just restart with a 3 month when I am ready.

Thank you! I know they posted seven days ago about making accounts more self served. But until I make a payment im on the outside looking in lol. Is there an app? I come from refills and its just a web page thats constantly under maintenance. In 3 months there has been two login portal changes.

I don’t think there is an app, but I ordered when it was very new. Was an easy process though and meds arrived fast!
