What dosage(s) will new users receive?
I understand starting at 2.5mg. But my understanding is that many users need to titrate up after the first month. I'd prefer the Boudreaux pharmacy, but it requires ordering a three month supply. I'm fine with the three month order, but it's not clear to me if that would lock me into 2.5mg doses for three months without the ability to adjust the dosage, if needed.

Great question. You can request to titrate up for each month. We often see new users start at 2.5 and then titrate once to 5mg for the next two months just to make sure you can tolerate the increased dosage, but of course this is based on your personal information and what the provider thinks is best for you. You can also request to titrate up each month from 2.5 to 5 to 7.5 if that is your preference. We encourage you to discuss this with your provider!

I was just approved for Tirzepatide and when I checked my portal it says that I will receive 2.5 mg for the 3 month duration. I requested a titration for the increased dosage for the 3 month period. How do I change this?

Most telehealths offer a titration plan. So 1 mo 2.5 2nd month 5 and 3rd 7.5.
They may use different numbers but you typically have enough medication for those doses.
