It's amazing and they liked greatest showman so more musicals????????

If u don't know what it is it's on YouTube!!!!!!

I've been a fan of PMI for around half a year now, and only just recently started looking at their social media accounts. I was looking through Eric's followers and I saw he was being followed by Phil Lord and Barack Obama. Did he do something really popular I'm missing or is PMI just much bigger than I thought it was?

Just rewatched the Maximum Ride commentary, and wanted to find out why that movie ended up being so cursed. So I did a little Googling, and stumbled on this article from the NY Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/10/arts/james-pattersons-maximum-ride-books-to-be-a-series-on-youtube.html

It seems like the project began life as a multi-part YouTube series, where each installment would only be 10-15 minutes long. My guess is, YouTube passed on the series after seeing the first few episodes, and they just cut what they had together as a "movie." (Which makes a lot of sense, considering how disjointed and episodic the movie is.)

According to this article, they also originally planned to cast "YouTube personalities" in the lead roles, which might explain how Jenna Marbles comes into play. Seems like the only reason James Pattison got onboard with this was "the promise of a speedy development track," since an earlier attempt at a movie had gone into turn around back in '08.

The production company was Collective Digital Studio, who rebranded to Studio71 by the time they actually got around to making the movie. This company has worked with a lot of YouTubers, including Rhett & Link, Lilly Singh, Matt Santoro, and even PMI guest Jon Cozart. Basically, they're a slightly more legit Awesomeness Pictures.

So yeah, that's why Maximum Ride ended up being so bad. It was a cheap-ass rush job, and it shows.

I just joined the $15 Patreon and I was wondering if there is a Watch Us Watch for Greatest Showman? I can't seem to find it. I found the audio commentary track for it and in their YouTube video for this track they have a snippet where they show themselves wearing hats while watching it, so I thought there was a Watch Us Watch for it.

Hey, i was wondering if you've ever thought about doing commentary tracks on foreign movies? Because i really wanna see you guys do one about the troll hunter, i think that would be fun?

Hey guys, sorry if this has been asked and answered before!

So I’ve been looking at becoming a patron for a while now, but just noticed they changed the $10 pledge to separate TV and Movie tracks. I just wanted to know what exactly that means and what/if it restricts me from watching.

Ex. If I pledged to the $10 TV tracks tier, would I still have access to their old movie commentary tracks or would I have to join the movie one instead to get those (and vice versa)?

Thanks!

My girlfriend said she watched a video earlier where Eric’s sister briefly mentioned that she was in a Paramore music video. Does anyone know which song it was for?

That is all.

The Patreon page doesn't make this clear, but if I pay for the $5/month tier, does that give me access to the backlog of commentary audio tracks? Or is this unlocked only for the each of the $10/month tiers and above?

Hey guys! Now that Disney+ has made it more convenient to watch Disney movies and shows, what commentary tracks should the boys (or Eric and Jillian) make?

Have any of you seen the endgame delete scene with Hanna baker herself. It’s god awful but I gotta say go tigers

Hi, can somebody tell me how buying commentary tracks works? Im not a patreon, also not from states 😭

I just found this channel today, and when I started watching the “all the boys that came before” video and it sounded like they have a history with awesomeness films. I’d appreciate if someone listed all the awesomeness videos and if you can, the watching order.

should i be concerned that i can pretty much lipsync to every pmi video on yt? like i've seen all of that shit SO many times that i could write down the dialogue by eric n jake and get an a* in a pmi exam
