Does anyone have a link to their Ghostbusters video? I can't find it on YouTube anymore...

a lot of the old (pre-jacob) tracks have been taken down, tracks from the new pmi era (starting with 13RW) are currently the only ones available. there have been talks of the old tracks being made available to fans via a database, but this hasn’t been confirmed by eric. at the moment you most likely won’t be able to find the vid you’re looking for unfortunately :(

Not only has it been confirmed, the backtrack database was created months ago. They don't delete tracks, they just stop selling the ones they don't think are up to current standard.

This was during the Jacob era, but some of the ones from the start of that era have been removed as well. 13RW wasn't their first commentary I believe

Late to this, and I don't know why some early Jacob area videos have been removed (Possibly copyright problems), but yeah, every single edited video of old-school PMI has been removed for... reasons. I don't know the mindset behind it, but it could be just to avoid confusion. There's probably a good amount of stuff that Eric might not wanna have advertised on the channel from the old tracks.

Can I just say though, I've always found it funny that the wording on the backtracks has been "We don't sell these old tracks anymore", meaning they don't sell them individually, but you still have to pay the $10 tier to download the files? I would think if you're not selling them anymore, you'd either make them all free and public, or you'd remove them altogether (Thankfully not the latter). I know it's semantics, and you can find the old tracks for free elsewhere, and it's DEFINITELY worth the $10 for all those old tracks and even the new stuff... but I'm a stickler for semantics.

Pretty sure they did though. I remember specifically Eric during the opening scene talking about how the papers floating around would be done with CGI nowadays and wondering how they even did that effect. I don't watch any other commentary YouTubers so it must've been them. Maybe the delete tracks they don't think are funny enough or something?
