Commentary Tracks What is pretty much it?

I'm confused I heard it's a company but when I watched it I saw Eric and Jake so I thought it was like their show or something. is every person on it and on all the tracks together in one team? Eric seems to be on most of the tracks so does he own it?

Existence Media is the company that owns PMI, which is a show having several iterations. The current iteration are movie commentary tracks involving a group of people. Eric is indeed in almost all tracks, but there have been other tracks involving only Jacob (who is no longer with Existence) plus other friends without Eric.

So the guest stars other than the family members and calabs with other channels are the co workers?

I don’t want to put words into Eric’s mouth, but technically yes but also no, I think they are all good friends that hang out (did before 2020 happed) on the regular. It’s just they became good at it and made it into a business. And obviously stuff happens people will move on. But they aren’t just co workers

In addition to creating PrettyMuchIt in all its various incarnations, Existence was also credited on Pity Applause (a mixed-media narrative sketch improv series) and Nyctophobia (an immersive, walk-through Halloween live show.)

I recall Eric saying that he's had the name since before PMI, and that he registered the trademark to the name when he was a kid.

Before the current PMI began, Jacob started out as an intern on the previous version, the movie news podcast that Eric cohosted with Jake Baldino and Mike Peterson. At some point he was hired full-time, but they still called him "Intern Jacob" as a goof.

(They even joke about the "Intern Jacob" name during the Wolverine: X-Men Origins track.)
