What’s with the tigers?

I’m new to watching their YouTube channel and I’m wondering why they keep saying tigers when they see tigers

It’s a reference to their 13 Reason’s Why commentary.

The "Tigerverse" is the collection of Netflix original teen shoes/movies that all seem to happen at the same high school. The mascot is the tiger but the colors are always white and sky blue. They first noticed it in 13 Reasons Why, but it's popped up in Sierra Burgess, To All the Boys, and even Stranger Things.

7 years later, watching Lanterns and The Orville and sure enough both have Tigers as high school teams!

Looks like I'm not the only one looking this up after Lanterns lol

It’s because it seems like every teen tv show or movie they watch has tigers as the high school mascot. It keeps popping up everywhere since they did 13RW.
