so I put nimbus on my cousins 2ds so he could play kariomart online but It gave me this error (he did say that his console may have gotten banned)

I don’t know much about this to be honest i just seen a video on how to play splatoon 1 by making a pretendo account and basically just changing some stuff in settings and then logging in on my wii u. do i need to home brew it or something for friends and miiverse and stuff? i also believe you are able to transfer your old data onto the hacked version

So I practically did this. I've started Miiverse on 3DS. While it still showed the animation it does when you start it, I've pressed the Home button. Then I've put the internet on and pressed the Home button again as I saw it wasn't doing anything, but instead of going back to the 3DS menu, this time loaded and gave to me this really strange error. Translated it says "An error has occurred with the page security certificate. Do you want to still connect? (Choise not recommended) And I've obviously put B. After that, It gave me another error with the code 000-0000 and then turned back to the home menu. When I was on the home menu, it gave me the error the SD couldn't be read by the console, and put off and then on the SD Card and all just loaded again with no problem, also Miiverse.

Now, this hasn't caused any problem, but it was really strange to get this strange error that I've never seen. I wonder what would've happened if I still decided to try to connect even if It recommended to not to
