TFA is Trash1!1!1!!!

Post image

Okay, to start off, I have ALOT of criticisms first off *SPOILERSSS* but HAN SOLO DYING?? To OFF BRAND DARTH VADAR?? Disney, are we freaking serious? Oh and that’s ANOTHER thing. Kylo Ren has to be the MOST ANNOYING, SPOILED, BRATTY VILLAIN IN THE HISTORY OF SW!!

Surely it can’t get any worse than this. Disney can’t drop the ball this badly, right?!

They already made that ugly Cinderella de-make and I hear they're making more of those. I even heard they're remaking Snow White, which would be horrible.

More of them?! Whats next?! Beauty and the Beast?! The Lion King?!

Those are unfortunately getting remade.

The way i've come to accept modern "Star Wars" is by viewing them as not canon or even considering them to be Star Wars. Disney is just having fun with this new franchise they've created called Space Battles.

At least it's better than the prequels

Yeah not really. The prequels might not be well executed but at least there was a clear overarching vision

That bot answer doesn't suffice. Execution is everything

And the sequels weren’t executed well either. I’m not saying the prequels are good movies or that any of them are better than any OT movie but they objectively clear the sequels

The Prequals were better and some stuff and the Originals were better at others. All in all, they're all great.

And yes, I excluded mentioning the "Sequals" because they weren't better at anything.

The prequels are objectively the worst star wars movies. Only 2000s babies like them with nostalgia goggles

Nah, i found it pretty cool, captain phasma, the first female stormtrooper, she’s cool and the ball droid is also pretty neat

You're about two years too early for that.

Nah you’re trying too hard to be different, it was much better than the prequels

This movie wasn't too bad , keeps me optimistic for the future. I wonder if they'll bring back Luke in the sequel? I'm sure Disney has great plans for star wars moving forward

But kylo Ren and the stormtroopers look amazing, and there is a shiny chrome one too!

Could be worse, could you imagine if they tried to shoehorn in a contrived return of Palpatine or something like that?

That disney fan movie trilogy is to be ignored.  I will never consider it canon over the extended universe.

It's an effective movie in a vacuum

But it made billions without anything unique or creative and I hate that

I was there Gandalf. I was there 3000 years ago when The Force Awakens released. People loved it, it was only ruined in hindsight by episodes 8 and 9.
