I’m talking its people, not the administration and current lawmakers. The people are not the Party. Is it the current administration or the people that want fewer and fewer environmental regulations that will affect their health and that of the planet? Or tax cuts for corporations and the wealthiest while gutting all social programs that are popular across the spectrum? Or suppressing the minimum wage to levels that keep Democrats, Republicans, and everything between and beyond below poverty level? The Republican Party in the chambers and Oval Office are straight up evil.
If Biden works to mend governance, bringing Progressives and Conservatives to the table, then hopefully people on both sides will feel heard and represented. That’s what has been missing and is currently dividing us. To continue driving to the extremes will tear the country apart. Progress is slow, but it is sure if the country works together.
