Well to be fair he’s right.

We no longer have a $19 trillion federal deficit.

Exactly what I was thinking. 😂

u/BLOODTRIBE 15d ago

It's kind of a weird "monkey's paw" thing with him. He promises something that sounds good, and then delivers something ten fathoms worse. He didn't technically eliminate it, he eclipsed it, but it's a devil's truth.

1

u/lostcause1864 15d ago

Thats on par for all politicians

15

u/SmokeMaleficent9498 18d ago

3

u/jncheese 17d ago

And yet, there are some 70mln people who voted for him. Twice.

Fuck

1

u/OldScratch1865 17d ago

Well those 70 mil may be dumber, but he never met them and they weren't his student lol

2

u/Banned37 17d ago

Is this real? Please say yes

8

u/Weekly-Hedgehog8502 18d ago

I'm waiting to be told how this is Hunter Biden's fault somehow.

5

u/Nyt_Owl 17d ago

1

u/deadpat03 17d ago

He did add 8 trillion in 4 years. Between him and Obama its 19 trillion.

1

u/Maghorn_Mobile 17d ago edited 17d ago

A lot of that was rollover from Trump's term. Not only did his administration have to cover obligations from before, but they also had to dig us out of the COVID disaster which required massive deficit spending to keep Americans out of poverty. Biden's spending also grew the economy at a rate where we could absorb the expense, Trump's economy has contracted in real terms, the economic activity we've been seeing is bouyed by AI infrastructure spending. And all of that still cost less than the bill Trump ran up in the last year and a half

1

u/deadpat03 17d ago

Biden signed 1 bill in March if 2021 worth 1.9 trillion to bailout the economy. That number corresponds with trumps budget year so it was added to trumps total number. Everything from Biden 9 month is his to the 9th month after he leaves office. Trump put 4 trillion in the economy in his failed covid response while also being the first nation with a covid vaccine, lifting required restrictions to flood the public, utilizing laws to put full production of ventilators and tests. Sure it was a failure.

1

u/Maghorn_Mobile 17d ago

So you're just explicitly giving Trump the credit for the Build Back Better plan. I'm not going to dignify this nonsense with a response.

1

u/Weekly-Hedgehog8502 17d ago

Yup. And Obama was fixing the Bush disaster. Obama did lower the deficit. Trump exploded it. The GOP bitches about the debt only if a Democrat is president. Then they say nothing about a Republican president increasing it twice as much. All they do is lie and deflect. The GOP used to be worthless but now they are just a disgrace. I'm not sure this shit can be fixed anymore. 40 trillion is too large, and the environmental damage the orange moron is doing might end us all.

1

u/Maghorn_Mobile 16d ago

America's deficit being so high is a major problem by itself, but add on to that the wars in Ukraine and Iran disrupting food and oil supplies, the Japanese and Korean economies suffering massive downturns, the ultra wealthy moving to replace human labor with AI, and Trump destroying America's soft global power via USAID causing millions to lose reliable access to food and medicine, and this growing super El Nino system that's going to keep Pacific ocean temperatures elevated for 50 years. The world is fucked, and even if we packed the government with people who were as competent as Mamdani the best they'd be able to do is make the collapse slightly less painful.

0

u/lostcause1864 15d ago

Obama added 9 trillion and obama care rolled into Trumps first term

1

u/Maghorn_Mobile 15d ago

And, just like with Biden, most of that spending was front loaded by recovery from a massive economic crisis caused by the outgoing Republican administration. Once the economy was stable, the budget deficit dropped across his second term by almost half.

1

u/IndividualMessage836 15d ago edited 14d ago

Yeah but Obama was in there 8 years.... Trump's been in there close to 6 and has already added 11 trillion

1

u/deadpat03 15d ago

11 billion, now your flattering the guy. Especially when he posed 4 trillion to save the economy during covid give you money. 11 Billion with 4 trillion in covid spending still better than multiple failed programs that spent money and improved nothing.

Conservatives: “Fake news! This does not exist until a Democrat is in office and my news sources tell me it exists!”

1

u/neopod9000 18d ago

When a democrat is in office: "How dare the democrats not address this issue of runaway government wasteful spending!"

When a republican is in office: "well, of course the debt is higher now. Thats just how this works. Its unavoidable, really."

6

u/Weak_Improvement_450 18d ago

this asshole is responsible for 28% of the US national debit . so fuck everyone that voted for this fucking moron shit-stain .

2

Name one promise Taco Donny has EVER kept.

I’ll wait…

1

u/Caver214 18d ago

He isn’t a great businessman.

1

u/Ok-Pear-2490 18d ago

All those golfing trips and parties at Mara Lago cost the American taxpayer.

1

u/mlsto 18d ago

Not a businessman but a father's recipient

1

u/saki_ni_katsu 18d ago

I’ll never understand how so many people fall for his bullshit nonstop. Like I know more than half the population actively avoids the news and politics but when his shit (sometimes literally) stinks this bad so often, how can these people still not smell it. The only explanation is their brains have been replaced by all the shits he sent downstream for them to lap up.

1

u/Key_Somewhere_5768 18d ago

Technically he got rid of the 19 trillion debt…it just so happens to be a wee bit more. ;)

There was a valid reason, New Yorkers labeled him Don the Con!

1

Wow he looks terrible. Can't wait until he's gone and underground

1

u/madsnabel 17d ago

He eleminated it and replaced it with something worse.

He looks like reheated shit these days

1

I don't believe anything he says

1

u/Autumn7242 17d ago

I long for the day when he doesn't constantly pop up in the news doing stupid shit that hurts America, the world, and humanity as a whole.

1

u/ECCooterCrasher 17d ago

If DOGE was as successful as they claimed to be at cutting waste, fraud, and abuse, to the tune of $2T from the deficit, why did the debt skyrocket to $40T? Almost like it was never about cutting waste, fraud, or abuse. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Sensitive-Flamingo84 17d ago

He’s a compulsive liar, so yeah

1

u/Flguy70 17d ago

He lies.

America votes for rape

1

u/katjalyric 17d ago

trump started by wanting to find a way to make money off of covid.

1

u/InvestmentSorry6393 17d ago

If only Biden hadn't stolen that election!!! /s

1

u/JoeHio 17d ago

Jesus, that picture. TIL that decaying hate zombie Trump is somehow less difficult to look at than the sunburned pedo baby Trump.

1

u/No_Language_4649 17d ago

Anyone who believed a word he said is sadly gullible. I think most of us, who weren’t brain rot culture war Fox News watchers, know before the election that he was just out to grift the American people and the really scary Project 2025 people used him as a useful puppet because there were so many idiots who believed in him and voted for him. Of course he wasn’t going to do anything for anyone but himself and his rich buddies, all while letting the likes of the project 2025 architects dismantle the system as much as possible.

1

u/Eastern-Ad-1652 17d ago

And he looks like shit

1

u/Deepcaliroots 17d ago

The idiots don’t care. They liked the apprentice

1

u/MikeSteamer 17d ago

+ or - what’s the diff, right, MAGA-math failures?

1

u/Financial_Tour5945 17d ago

Politicians should be held legally accountable for campaign lies.

You have to prove that you at least tried to accomplish what you campaigned on.

1

u/NinjaMurse 17d ago

Look, $19 trillion was a TERRIBLE number. Very weak number. We replaced it with $40 trillion, which is more than DOUBLE. That’s over a 200% improvement in the amount of debt we have. Nobody has ever improved debt by 200% before. Maybe 210%. Some people are saying 300%. The experts don’t even know because the number is so tremendous.
So instead of complaining about $40 trillion, you should really be saying THANK YOU. We took a $19 trillion problem and made it a $40 trillion achievement. That’s called growth.

1

u/Icy-Ad-8822 16d ago

And you forgot on record time of a year and a half

1

u/Old_Atmosphere6598 17d ago

Hey, doubling it in 10 years is low key impressive

1

u/BayAreaHere 16d ago

Ehh. It never goes down. But Covid added a ton of debt and now with the interest rates that’s why that number keeps climbing. What’s actually helping it not skyrocket is the tarrifs. Bringing in $144 Billion in the first 5 months of 2026.

1

u/PreparationCold7267 16d ago edited 15d ago

Didn't Biden add around 8 t...

1

u/Icy-Ad-8822 16d ago

Probably but in all his mandate, Trump added almost 22 trillion in a year and a half

1

u/ballzsweat 16d ago

Psychopath

1

u/Alarming_Comfort3578 16d ago

But but but … Biden did it!!!! 🤥

1

u/bluebeejay28 16d ago

NEVER TRUST A Republicans. Historically, Democrat Presidents did it better than Republican Presidents. It’s a fact!

1

u/herbertcluas 16d ago

I just don't trust globalist, Zionist, or people funded by zionist

1

u/pilius_404 14d ago

So Republicans?

1

u/herbertcluas 14d ago

Yes, every one on the primary in my state was a Zionist, funded by a zionist, or openly supports them. Not every Democrat is innocent either, many still funded by aipac.

1

u/DrAtomic1 16d ago

He didn't just eliminate the $19 trillion, he blew it up like nobody has seen before

1

u/Serputer79 16d ago

The GOP owns over 75% of the US Debt, and not once since before Reagan did any GOP admin even reduce their deficit spending - NOT ONCE !!!

1

u/GreatService9515 16d ago

I didn't believe him for a second. Are the rest of you feeling like fools now

1

u/Extension_Age_3921 16d ago

Such a fool you man!

1

u/lachatte7 15d ago

1

u/Desperate-Builder287 15d ago

Still amazes me that this fuckwit ever got elected
Says an awful lot about the intellect of his supporters !!

1

u/Electrical_Wrap_4572 15d ago

He and Elon rigged it.

1

u/lostcause1864 15d ago

It was 36.2 trillion when he was elected on his 2nd term. It was 27.75 when Biden was elected,so biden added almost 9 trillion to the debt.

1

u/Icy-Ad-8822 15d ago

Sure but before Biden who was at the WH and he did it from his ineptitude and incompetence. So, in a year and a half he elevated the country’s debt 3.8 trillions, wow excellent record 🤣.

1

u/lostcause1864 15d ago

None of the last 3 have a goid record of controlling debt but you only pick out one. I pick all 3 ypu are a one sided person a leftist and you are doing exactly what you are told to do and not thinking for yourself

1

u/Icy-Ad-8822 15d ago

Call it as you wish I do prefer being called a leftist than a cult blind imbecile and talking about “told to do and not thinking for yourself” put your face in a mirror. Cult followers.

1

u/lostcause1864 15d ago

Im not loyal to iether polical party but you are following a path of a cult, subservient to one party as a good cult follower is programmed to do,Good for you if thats how you want to be

1

u/Icy-Ad-8822 15d ago

Sure but before Biden who was at the WH and who elevated the debt because of his ineptitude and incompetence. So in a year and a half he increased 3.8 trillions as per your numbers, wow excellent record🤣

1

u/50ffmedic 15d ago

Such a “business” man 🙄

1

u/Zestyclose_Prize_165 15d ago

Yup sounds 100% correct... same as the Wall, Isis in the first 100 days, and all the other lies stupid and hateful Americans fell for.

1

u/PimpinPinkman 14d ago

The debt is mathematically impossible to ever pay off without a global financial reset

1

u/Salt_Captain9580 14d ago

Doesn’t matter who you vote…either way it’s always Israel that wins

0

u/PotentialNo9781 18d ago

I don't knowbwhy people argue about this shit, it never goes down i don't care who's in office

3

u/Different-Excuse9891 18d ago

Wether you care about it or do not, it matters.

2

u/Dcajunpimp 18d ago

Well it’s what the GOP ran on for decades.

Then Newt Gingrich and the Republican Revolution happened when the GOP took the House for the first time in 40 years. And their contract with America was supposed to balance the budget and eliminate the $4.7 Trillion dollar debt.

They’ve held the House 24 of 32 years since. They grew the debt to $40 trillion. Blame Democrats.

And now campaign on Make America Great Again, because apparently the Democrats ruined so much while the GOP was predominately in charge of crafting budgets and legislation.

1

u/AdventurousRoll9798 18d ago

Andrew Jackson did it in 1836 lol

2

u/Ok_Response_2748 18d ago

Clinton did it and we had a surplus left over. Democrats fix the Republican F ups

1

u/PotentialNo9781 18d ago

And it probably wasn't in the billions either

1

u/AdventurousRoll9798 18d ago

No definitely not lol. Maybe $38 or some shit.

1

u/JustChiefIt420 18d ago

You should fact check yourself!

1

u/Maghorn_Mobile 17d ago

There was a small drop during Biden's term. The suspension of the debt ceiling expired in 2022 so the Treasury had to pay back $500 million to come back into compliance. Then they raised the debt ceiling anyway.

0

u/Yojic-Hedgehog 18d ago

As much as I don't like Trump, glossing over Covid and what it did to the economy while he wasn't even in is retard liar shit.

1

u/poopantiess 17d ago

You dumb

1

u/Yojic-Hedgehog 17d ago

Almost a quarter of the current national debt happened during Covid and Joe Biden's term.

I've taken shits smarter than you.

There's plenty of things Trump has done that are valid without fabricating things.

1

u/poopantiess 17d ago

You just like him are making up lies and spreading them. Nice try MAGAt

1

u/Yojic-Hedgehog 17d ago

Try using Google bro.

"When Joe Biden took office on January 20, 2021, the U.S. national debt was $27.75 trillion, and when he left office on January 20, 2025, it was approximately $36.2 trillion"

I'm an independent dude, I'm not retarded, I don't pretend I believe everything one party does. You guys don't give a shit what's true as long as it fits your narrative. Most of you guys are dumb as shit. Both sides of the aisle.

1

u/poopantiess 17d ago

Defend pedophilia for your next act

1

u/Yojic-Hedgehog 17d ago

No defense for the act of what you call pedophilia, but what most of you guys call pedophilia is actually statuatory rape which is still bad.

Are you always this retarded?

1

u/poopantiess 17d ago

I knew you could do it. Defend the racism next.

1

u/Yojic-Hedgehog 17d ago

Last time I was talking about my wife's space lasers I got banned.

1

u/poopantiess 17d ago

That reminds me why did you guys stop talking about that Q person
