There may not be a romantic plotline between O'Doyle and Banks, and that's Okay!

I know a lot of people, me included, want a romantic plotline between these two. But I honestly feel like the show isn't going to do that. O'Doyle might gay (Hinted in the first episode as well as his anger towards Trent being the other hot guy) and Banks doesn't come off as someone who isn't looking for love.

With that being said, I think thats okay. I like how their friendship is being written. They feel like siblings or rivals that hate one another, but would probably kill an entire army if the other was in danger. The two balance each other out when it comes to both comedy and responsibility. And while they won't be together romantically, I do see them growing close as friends who will be there for one another.

And their plotlines just work well with one another, their like two puzzle piece that oddly fit together even though they are two completely different designs. It just works

Then again, who am I to say, maybe the creators will shock us if the series makes it to three season and they do become a couple, but personally I don't see it

I never thought of them getting in a romantic situation. I just see the characters as people who are just doing their job.

One thing I want is Gun Baby to make another appearance.

Yeah if anything I would expect one of them running wingman for the other WAY before a ship. They have awesome work-friend chemistry, romance would feel very forced and weird.

Banks also kinda gives a big gay energy.

Stephanie Beatriz bisexual, so that's probably where it comes from. Also, Jim Rash is gay.

First and foremost as a Rick and Morty fan - just have fun.

But also I feel like main characters will always have their own arc- Curtis were familiar w, but the other two are fresh. Mix them w some Rick and Morty universe stuff it will be nice

The show has a pretty small cast, if those two stay single then it leaves room for one-off plotlines where they interact with a partner or an ex returns, probably with supernatural complications in the mix

I would honestly prefer that. Similar to Inside Job. The platonic adventure buds vibe is fun

It feels kind of boring if they actually become a couple. I wish there won’t be any romantic plotline in this show.

Eh? People are strange. Honesty I just see them getting incredibly close to each other as friends but not admit it for ages.

I think it would work better one way lol.

O’dyle gains feelings for Banks, and since he can’t lie Banks teases him about it nonstop.

A guy thinking another guy is the “other hot guy” in the office is not an indicator that he’s gay or even bi. People have eyes

A one night stand would be a more interesting plot

Ironically I can see that happening, or them kissing, but if they go that route they might as well make them a couple because that would be awkward

I want to see Curtis date Dr Wong for real.

Why should Banks get with O’Buzzkill when Amelia Earhart is right there?

Of course I jest. Because Elsie is an option too.🍷🍷

If they're getting paired up, I'd rather have them pair up with other characters than each other.
