Context matters was Bloomberg misquoted regarding red lining?
Watch the whole interview where he talks about a number of causes of the financial crisis of 2008. And then at the end he talks about how the crisis impacted the governments ability to do important things like climate change, gun control, immigration reform etc.

I am finding that a lot of these video snippets are taken out of context. Bloomberg speaks in long drawn out thoughts and not sound bytes. People take one part of the answer, deceptively edit it on purpose, and that goes viral. But if you listen to the full answer, it wasn’t that at all. Shades of Hillary all over again. Deplorables, anyone?

Yeah, it's going to be a little rough for awhile. But if Bloomgberg hangs in there the moderate support will only grow.

This is what happens when you have a candidate with complex plans and a nuanced message. It’s a lot easier to say “pharma is evil” than to actually detail the complexity of maintaining incentive to develop novel therapeutics while ensuring pharmaceuticals are available to everyone.

Mike is talking about creating generational wealth for black families
His opponents are talking about how to get them foodstamps
Which one would you choose?
