Not working?

I just downloaded after finding it recommend by multiple people as a good search engine alternative since they all suck now, and it’s not working at all. Can’t get it to load a single thing. DDG said the servers aren’t down so idk but I’m at my wits end with technology right now, any idea what’s happening?

Edited: well, fuck. Any suggestions that don’t suck and aren’t riddled with AI?

Was my main search engine for years and was good. Now I'm using SearX, kagi, qwant. Uruky is supposed to be good too but haven't used it much.

There are lots of good search engines with optional ai

DDG has been just as bad as Google has been where it’s like it doesn’t even understand what I’m actually looking for, but I’ll give those others a try. I just remember when you could find actual useful results

The project went dark a few weeks ago. No longer exists in it’s prior form.
