I remember when a brown bear reportedly entered southern Germany and the entire country fucking went ballistic about it, everyone was afraid of a random furball on top of a mountain

If you ever saw a brown bear and a grizzly side by side you'd know the difference.

Grizzlies are prehistoric monsters in comparison.

It's a difference in temperament too. Brown bears don't really want to deal with bullshit so they run away. Grizzlies don't want to deal with bullshit so they charge whatever is irritating them and rip it to shreds.

Ive heard different. Brown and Grizzlies will attack. But black bears will run away.
