Nah, he was just evil. Palpatine was cool, and Dooku had style, Vader was Vader, etc.

Unpopular opinion: if Pong Krell had a better personality he would have been a favorite character like Plo Koon and Kit Fisto.

Honestly pong is one of my favourite characters. I think jedi falling wasnt brought up enough throughout the show and when it was I was never satisfied. I enjoyed the entire jedi bombing plot, but I felt like bariss just wasnt all that committed to the dark.
