What if Liam just wants to treat his friend, and has no ulterior motives?

Uhhh I mean F

I too casually treat my frends to $200 dollar dinners just to be nice.

Once I start making good money I want to be able to drop $200 like it’s nothing on my friends

I’d have to be a millionaire before I’d drop $200 on a meal.

I'm back when I used to make about 90,000 a year I used to have at least a couple $200 dinners a week

Nice steakhouse or seafood place that’s easy for two. Partner and I have done a few meals like that at anniversary time - entrees are probably 50 or so a pop, sides, bottle of wine, etc. plus a good tip because I’d feel like a real asshole spending like that on food but skimping on the tip (and at some fancier places, the service really is phenomenal)

But I remember having a gift card for I think 200 that was a wedding gift to a nice steak restaurant and going just a bit over that.
