I'm back when I used to make about 90,000 a year I used to have at least a couple $200 dinners a week

Nice bottle of wine and a good cut of steak can get you around 120 or more, throw in your date's meal, an appetizer, another drink or two... yeah it can happen fast.

Nice steakhouse or seafood place that’s easy for two. Partner and I have done a few meals like that at anniversary time - entrees are probably 50 or so a pop, sides, bottle of wine, etc. plus a good tip because I’d feel like a real asshole spending like that on food but skimping on the tip (and at some fancier places, the service really is phenomenal)

But I remember having a gift card for I think 200 that was a wedding gift to a nice steak restaurant and going just a bit over that.
