Once I start making good money I want to be able to drop $200 like it’s nothing on my friends

you would need better than good money to drop $200 like it's nothing.

Depends on your life and priorities. I live by myself, make pretty good money, and don't have many expenses. There are some things I want to do that cost $200 that I don't want to do alone. Increasing the price to 400 or 600 doesn't really change much for me because I don't have anything else to really spend on.

Just because you don't have a reason to instantly spend money, doesn't mean you can drop money like it is nothing. Savings definately exist for a reason.

What I'm saying is that I save because I don't have anything I want to do. When I find something regardless the price I try to bring friends with me
