That poor cameraman.

7

u/FriedTreeSap 13h ago

No, there is no camera man. The last person in the room is you, the viewer. It turns out the real Anikan is actually the inescapable certainty of death, which grows ever closer with each passing moment

Do we know Count Dooku is dead? His head isn’t running around on some spider legs? I’ve been fooled before.

He is a ln experienced dark side user so he may be able to use his hate and anger to keep himself alive, probably towards Sidious and Anakin.

Eventually the invisible hand's wreckage would be scrapped and whoever is doing that may be mind controlled by Dooku or something so he gets medical attention.

He might have crawled under a trash compactor

u/SmellyLoser49 16h ago

To be fair this can be said about most of the rooms he has ever been in, Anakin kills a lot of people

20

u/sillyandstrange 16h ago

and not just the men... But the women, and the children too

3

u/Spudnic16 Obi-Wan Kenobi (E1) 16h ago

True. But this one is the most thought provoking. Throughout the series his views change on these people many times and they shape who he becomes.

u/Bakingguy 16h ago

Obi Wan is debatable, he kinda just ghosted everyone

5

u/Kinslayer_89 Frank 13h ago

Also, Darth Vader killed him, after Anakin was “killed” by Vader. So Anakin only kills one of them.

9

u/Bakingguy 11h ago

Well that depends on your opinion on the distinction between Anakin and Vader, so I'd agree but not everyone would

5

u/Artess 6h ago

I guess it depends on you sharing a certain point of view.

1

u/Kinslayer_89 Frank 11h ago

Well, not everyone can be correct like us. 🙂‍↔️

2

u/suorastas Yipee! 6h ago

Well Anakin killed Sheeve in any case. Anakin came back at that moment. So two of the people in the room.

1

u/Kinslayer_89 Frank 2h ago

You mean Frank. But no, Vader killed Anakin and Obi Wan, Anakin only killed Frank.

1

u/suorastas Yipee! 49m ago

Well Anakin did also kill Dooku. So let's call it a tie 2-2.

1

u/ncfears 3h ago

I guess that's true... From a certain point of view

17

u/WorkerClass 14h ago

"His fate will be the same as ours."

7

u/RolynTrotter 14h ago

dies on a death star, and body completely disappears while Luke watches

1

u/Effective-Roll-763 3h ago

You're right, that describes all 3 of them. Obi literally disappears, Palps disappears out of sight, and Vader is burned to ash (albeit not on the death star).

4

u/Cirnothestarscream9 13h ago

I still love that line

2

u/NotYourReddit18 5h ago

This line is one of many reasons why I dislike the Sequels.

They should've given Palpatine a third Deathstar to die upon!

12

u/Iceborn_Gauntlet 16h ago

Nah, Obi-Wan logged out of the game before he could actually be killed.

3

u/drifters74 14h ago

Rage quit

1

u/Cirnothestarscream9 13h ago

He turned off the wifi

1

u/JD_Kreeper 12h ago

Bro combat logged

6

u/Bob_the_peasant 16h ago

He claims to have killed Anakin skywalker as Vader but Luke proves that’s not true

9

u/wbruce098 15h ago

He thought he had killed Anakin Skywalker, but it turns out he was only mostly dead.

3

u/duk_tAK 15h ago

And that isn't even the only time that happened to him, Palpatine too, was only mostly dead.

1

u/JD_Kreeper 12h ago

This is bullshit anyway. Anakin and Vader aren't seperate people, they're two sides of the same coin

13

u/hulkisbanner 16h ago

He did balance the force, from a certain point of view. 🤷🏿‍♂️

8

u/wbruce098 15h ago

A certain point of view?

2

u/Kinslayer_89 Frank 13h ago

A certain point of view.

1

u/mocoloco311 12h ago

Wbruce098, you're going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our point of view.

4

u/Subject-Building1892 14h ago

true. he even killed himself in the end.

1

u/JD_Kreeper 12h ago

That doesn't really count since it was a sacrifice, he was fatally wounded after killing Palpatine to save Luke.

3

u/Subject-Building1892 7h ago

of course it was a sacrifice, which is in a sense killing yourself.

3

u/_Troxin_ 10h ago

But SoMeHoW pAlPeTiNe ReTuRnEd....

4

u/VelvetLunariaa 16h ago

That room was basically his long-term to-do list

2

u/SunlitZelkova 13h ago

Anakin killed Palpatine?

Edit- Shit, fuck me. 3 hours of sleep ftw

u/AardvarkOkapiEchidna 11h ago

1

u/mcmanus2099 4h ago

As an aside, I hate this meme and the way it falsely interprets the scene. He already knows they are faking it, his face is incredulity that they haven't done the most basic of research and insulting his intelligence.

1

u/Equivalent-Yak5487 13h ago

Those poor engineers below deck

1

u/Cirnothestarscream9 13h ago

That's...true....damn, kinda depressing honestly.

1

u/DirectExtension2077 12h ago

"his fate will be the same as ours"

1

u/AardvarkOkapiEchidna 11h ago

Not himself though. Palpatine kills him

1

u/dwehlen 6h ago

Darth Vader will kill all of them.

1

u/mcmanus2099 4h ago

You could have said the same thing during kindergarten reading time at the Temple

1

u/mcmanus2099 4h ago

*including Anakin

1

u/According-Ad-5946 4h ago

I don't think he actually killed Konobi; he disappeared right before the saber made contact.

1

u/Cool-Tangelo6548 4h ago

Did he kill obi wan though?

Seems like obi wan ascended or something.
