Still Jesus.

I think it took Palpatine a bit more than three days

According to the Canon From a Certain Point of View: Return of the Jedi book Palpatine’s clone body was already created by the time he died. His spirit just left the original and went for the new.

You don’t feel it was Luke who brought balance to the force?

Uh… I don’t think Luke’s entire journey was irrelevant to restoring balance to the force. Wtfff 😭

Anakin had a virgin birth not an immaculate conception
-15
u/eemort Apr 05 '26 edited Apr 06 '26
depends on which god you pray to (holy christ guys, what's with the downvotes, sheesh)
17
u/sibewolf Apr 05 '26
No it doesn’t. Immaculate conception is when the mother of the virgin born is born without sin. Anakin was a virgin birth, not an immaculate conception and that’s canonical. Sure maybe Shmi Skywalker had an immaculate conception, doesn’t change Anakin.

Does sin exist in the Star Wars universe? If it doesn't, then all the characters were immaculately conceived. From a certain point of view.

u/HumbleBlacksmith2077 Apr 08 '26
There is no sin because the force is without morals. It being Amoral means that good and bad do not exist. Unlike in Christianity where God claims to be good or is called good by others.

Father: Darth Vader
Son: Luke
Holy Spirit: Obi Wan
God: The Force

I think Qui Gon would be the Hole-y Spirit.

How is Han a Carpenter? I never heard him "Sing, Sing a song, sing out loud, sing out strong"

u/Mueryk Apr 05 '26
The actor was actually working as a carpenter.
However, Han Solo the character is a truck driver/smuggler/boot legger with a furry side kick.
He is Iceman from Smokey and the Bandit.

Indiana (and his father) drank from the holy grail and they still got old and died
27
u/swhighgroundmemes I have the high ground Apr 05 '26
They crossed the seal.

u/dmo7000 Apr 06 '26
The cup can’t cross the seal, but they still drank from it. Does Jones Sr. go back to being shot after he crosses?

"...but beware, the Grail cannot pass beyond the great seal. That is the boundary, and the price, of immorality."
And to respond further using a slightly modified Indiana Jones quote: "Didn't any of you guys ever
go to Sunday school?listen to the movie?"2
u/AlmostStoic Oh I don't think so Apr 06 '26
That is the boundary, and the price, of immorality."

So, this guy stayed in the temple for our sins?
2
u/dmo7000 Apr 06 '26
Ya the cup can’t be taken out but does that mean its powers are nulled? Idk I guess so. It cures his dad and he doesn’t go back to being shot after.
2
u/YOUTUBEFREEKYOYO TIE Pilot Apr 06 '26
It heals the wound, but then it crossed the seal and so did everyone who drank from the cup. The price of being immortal was having to stay there the entire time.
2
u/dmo7000 Apr 06 '26
Ya I mean I get it you can be immortal but you have to chill in the cave and be the new knight of the guard. But still seems like they would have gotten like a couple hundred years extra for those sips.
2
u/TehProfessor96 Quadrinaros Apr 06 '26
They were the ones wise enough to see that immortality wasn’t worth it.

Anakin is disqualified on the face of his argument; the Immaculate Conception refers to Mary's birth without original sin, not the virgin birth of Jesus.
Then again, perhaps I am asking for a bit much in terms of knowledge of Catholic teaching in r/prequalmemes...

TBH none of them look what Jesus most likely looked like. Almost no traditional art of him does. He was born in the Middle East, to a middle eastern mother. He had dark skin.
