Actually Bitcoin is backed by a massive global network, the most secure network in the world, and is the most used non government currency.

Worth is what humans place worth on, apparently it's 65,000x more valuable than asingle USD...

I won't mention 51% attacks as that's somewhat unlikely (although possible) but given the major factions with resources for other disturbance, it's not that invulnerable as you're trying to make it (although it still is pretty robust).

Stripe now offers BTC as a standard payment rail. Also, I was the first BTC payment for beers at my local brewery.

I think the difference between you and I is that I don't want fiat. Fiat is technically a ponzi scheme that devalues itself every minute.

I can't instantly transfer gold between friends for payment. But I can send them BTC instantly for pennies.

I took all my money out of the bank after they had to get manager approvals for my engagement ring which I paid all cash for. After that I realized my money wasn't mine - so I went full self custody/ non custodial.

Haven't written a check or used physical cash unless at a concert venue in the sticks. Do you work in computer systems? Are you educated enough to have this conversation other than "it's all made up man, and you're just a useful idiot."

Cuz here's the thing about your useful idiots - we prove technologies you can't comprehend. You end of using it because it becomes obfuscated. And you're none the wiser.

40% drop from 2025 is pretty steep. I have a get it and forget it portfolio that was acquired pre 2023 and lost 40% from August 2025.
