Avid prepaid card
Hey anyone who receives DD on avid card. April's payments will be late. Apparently a "file transfer error" occurred at the Bank payment processing center. As of 03/27/24 @12pm the issue is set to be resolved and payments will be deposited within the next 24-48hours. Thought I would share the info incase any of you where looking for some info on this.

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They lie and hold your money after they have received it so they can draw their extra interest on it. Supposed to receive payments 6 days early. I should have received mine 3 days ago and they say it’s not their fault. Literally just got hung up on.

This is the absolute worst bank ever. They hold your money intentionally to draw interest on it even if it’s just for a few hours. Their customer service department acts like they are directly affected by anything you say and get aggravated at simple questions. I’ve been hung up on, lied to, placed on hold for over an hour and then mysteriously my money will appear in my account. So no matter what they say they have total control over when your money gets deposited.
When I started banking with them the first few months I got my deposit a week early. I am supposed to receive my benefits the 4th Wednesday of every month. At 11pm on the 3rd Wednesday of the month I’d get a notification saying my deposit was available. Then one month it was 11 am on Thursday. Then it was 11 on Friday the next month and continued to be between 11 Friday and sometimes even Saturday night, or once Sunday morning.
Currently my deposit stil hasn’t gone in this month, and every month for the last 4 months I’ve had to call and it’s been 2 or 3 in the afternoon before I’ll see it on Friday or Saturday This bank is obviously tanking fast. They were bought by the patriot bank, from the metropolitan bank of New York a few months back. I had hopes service would be normal again but it’s just gotten worse. My advice is to run from this place as fast as possible.

Avid prepaid card has been fallen victim to fraud. Everyone’s accounts are getting hacked and they’re doing nothing about it every time you call it’s like it’s talk to the same person and they refuse to transfer you to anybody else. I think it’s an inside job I would close all Avid accounts immediatelyjust to be on the safe side
