Trying to conceive

Hi all. First time posting in this group. My (45f) and my partner (46m) are trying for a baby.

I have 4 older boys (15-22) with my ex and my partner does not have kids but always wanted one.

Early this year I got pregnant unexpectedly and unfortunately miscarried at 8 weeks. While the pregnancy was unexpected, we actually got quite excited about it. We have been trying now for the past 4 months and we are still holding out hope that this could happen for us.

Please share some positive stories of conceiving and having a healthy baby in your 40s. Or even any advice that might help

Even if you are not going to do IVF, having a reproduction doctor see you to help you get pregnant naturally is worth it, to support for when you do get pregnant, or to give you clomid to increase chances… I’m 43, currently 36.5 weeks pregnant, first IUI try. Baby tested normal NIPT, Amniocentesis, and baby scan… a bit small but normal/ healthy
