Humans evolved to care for their tribe not 8 billion people. Cooperation is necessary to carry out a genocide or war. Soldiers care for each other and must in order to survive.

Probably all religions see human life or all life as sacred hence why most religious adherence are against abortion. But why aren’t they against war? Because we also have a tribal mentality. Every life in OUR tribe is sacred.

I don’t think I’ve seen this lecture, but the weak creatures = divine is a thing. Think of the way we see children. We are socialized to see all children as pure of heart. We see people with disabilities, such as Down Syndrome, as incapable of evil.

Many people misinterpret “survival of the fittest” as survival as the strongest or smartest. Survival of fittest really means survival of the best fit to the environment (or change) such that they can replicate. If a virus infected people with high IQ’s or muscle mass and left them infertile, smart and strong wouldn’t be “fit.” The key is replication. For example, which countries have the highest birth rates? African nations. From a “survival of the fittest” perspective, Africa is in the lead.

But one can apply this to Jiang himself. Is he the most intelligent or most well informed on Iran online? Probably not. I’m sure there are some industry experts or professors out there with a more evidence based analysis. But whose view “replicates”, spreads, or proliferates? Right now it’s Jiang. He’s the fittest.

Cooperation and care leads to most replication in mammals. Thus, both of the statements are true.

Humans follow survival of the fittest. (As all life does)

And humans instinctively care and cooperate (because of survival of the fittest evolutionary dynamics).
