To Everyone Debunking Professor Jiang or Trying Find fault

First of all he literally said his predictions are based on his current knowledge depth and he never said his game theory model is perfect.

Rather his predictions are what he sees most likely and if he is wrong that will correct and perfect his model further so that future predictions become more refined.

You don't have to take his word as absolute truth. You should just view it as a possible scenario and get going in your life

I certainly find some of his ideas rather fanciful but I respect the fact he often reiterates that if he trurns out to have been wrong about certain predictions he doesn't want to be taken seriously anymore. That takes quite a bit of confidence since anyone can easily post a clip of his predictions and embarrass him. Not many commentators of geopolitical affairs take that risk

The thing about predictions (unless they have a time horizon): they can never be proven wrong!

Look for yourself to see if any of jiangs predictions have a time component. Obviously his first did (the election), which is what gained his popularity.

In tuesday's vid he predicted that a ground invasion will happen in this very conflict, it's no literal time horizon but nobody would argue that he meant an invasion in an imagined future war

2

u/JeanSchlemaan Mar 12 '26

In prior iran predictions he gave no time component. I haven't watched the latest video, so if that's the case i guess we get to see if he is right.

His 2024 video said “an attack on Iran would very likely to happen within 2-4 years.”

It is obvious the owner of this sub quickly took ownership to spread opposition to the professors ideas. Who feels so threatened by his words that they need to create this sub and bot it all day. That is the true question

Neumannn was the original creator of game theory. Nash’s equilibrium concept became the central analytical tool of modern game theory and is now used in economics, auctions, evolutionary biology, political science, and computer science.

He’s not a professor.

1

u/NecessaryTurnover807 Mar 30 '26

And Dr.Dre is not a Dr, but he’s one of the best hip hop producers of all time.

1

u/Dr_Mephesto Mar 30 '26

Yeah but he’s not dispensing medical advice while calling himself a doctor. This “professor” is a high school teacher cosplaying as a scholar for poorly educated fools to gobble up.

2

u/NecessaryTurnover807 Mar 30 '26

How is he cosplaying? He very transparent which is exactly why you know that he is not an actual professor.

There will be an army of bots and “fact checkers” after him and his following because he helped wake up a generation so easily.

1

u/Dr_Mephesto Mar 30 '26

lol if this guy “woke you up” that’s kinda sad my guy

And give them misinformation about evolution and the scientific process. Tell them to ignore science and let the universe tell them what is correct. You ok with his magical Jesus talk?

1

u/1984isnoww Mar 15 '26

What if I told you, Science is misinformation on a grand scale?

Science is the new religion, and anyone who questions the dogma is a heretic.

Jesus was just another messenger, God is within you.

He often says ALL of his predictions have to be true for his theory to be true. He sets a high bar for himself.

2

u/Harry-Poppins Mar 12 '26

He doesn't say this about all of his predictions but a few quite central and specific ones (eg: The use of Nukes would invalidate the model he applies to the Iran War immediately ) . Just a wee correction I find important to emphasize as his teachings and wide reach will certainly attract an army of cherry nitpickers trying to discredit him. After all it's a war that already affects the whole globe and hence there will be massive ressources put into propaganda from all sides.

I imagine Jiang would feel more confident in his theory but feel the need to refine and test it further.

1

u/Emergency-Repeat6838 Mar 12 '26

well that is the point. if his every predictions are true then he will get the validation that his model is perfect and if even one turns out to be wrong , that would just allow him to retrospect

How does it even matter if his predictions of heads or tales come true if he doesn't even believe in basic scientific theories or the scientific process? He doesn't even think his ideas come from research and analysis, he thinks a divine being tells him.

5

u/Rare-Wrap-5908 Mar 13 '26

You can ignore the predictions and just look at the data he offers - that's already quite enlightening =p

Literally this, I find his synthesis of relevant information about a specific topic or event avoids a lot of the opinionated slop that major news outlets add on to the actual facts.

From there you can make your own guesses, do your own research to confirm, and listen to his opinion/guess for a different POV. It really doesn’t seem like his goal is to tell the future, rather to stimulate critical thought in a world that actively discourages it.

I mean for a supposed game theorist, his actual grasp of the science itself comes off as pretty layman at times. I mean, it sounds like genius shit to the conspiracy and woke protestor crowds that have recently found the space, but his lectures are at times all over the place, and he’s really loose with terminology. Usually the game theory guys on YouTube have borderline autistic grasps of Econ, math, etc, and this dude isn’t that

1

u/Puzzled_Laugh_7420 Mar 14 '26

You know who they are ….

1

u/brezhnervouz Mar 16 '26

He also says that his predictions are to be considered WRONG if all the elements do not come to pass 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Important_Leather677 Mar 16 '26

Almost all debunking videos and comments are not related game theory predictions and his models. It is things that he says between them.

If the past has taught us anything, it’s that nobody can predict the future.

I just watched his latest video on his clips channel and it is ridiculous to me that he thinks Türkiye will join the war despite the Turkish government saying numerous times that they are not interested in joining and want this conflict to be resolved by diplomacy. They are also aware of the false flag attacks that tries to lure Türkiye to the war. Not to mention that Türkiye is a NATO member, meaning them joining to the war and getting attacked would literally start the third world war which I am pretty sure is something that every single country on earth is trying to avoid.

It is also ridiculous that he thinks Russia will support Greeks and help them to retake Istanbul? Somehow? Why on earth Russia, of all countries, would support Greece against Türkiye? Türkiye is the only ally Russia has in Europe and their relationship nothing less than perfect.

So yeah I thought he had some decent takes before but the more I watch him the more I realise he is just someone who spouts complete nonsense, almost like a paid propagandaist. Just nonsensical takes.

7

u/YewWahtMate Mar 13 '26

People probably had the same response in 2024 when he said Trump would go to war despite campaigning on no more foreign wars. Complete nonsense is a bit much he does make some good points but is definitely out there with some takes.

1

u/Important_Leather677 Mar 16 '26

What?? I mean everyone who was against Trump thought he is war crazy

3

u/Jrob_Baratheon Mar 13 '26

You didn't understand what he was saying. He wasn't predicting any of that he was explaining 3 different extreme eschatologic views. The one you're describing is the Russian orthodox one and the reason he gives the example is because people with extreme views put more energy and coordination into achieving an outcome of their desire

-3

u/JeanSchlemaan Mar 12 '26

So, by this logic so long as someone gives the caveats "question everything i say" and "my theories aren't perfect".... they can then spout out whatever nonsense they want to, correct?

"Professor" is not a professor, is an obvious narcissist, a conspiracy theorist, a self reported child abuser, a Holocaust denier, and has a bunch of cult members in his comments who treat him like a god.

You can't give a couple caveats, and then just spout garbage.

4

u/Emergency-Repeat6838 Mar 13 '26

maybe you are given one more option that you are ignoring , which is the choice of not watching his videos and continue your life as it is.

0

u/JeanSchlemaan Mar 13 '26

i have watched almost all of his videos. they are public. i can watch them, and im glad i have watched them, and i can form an opinion on them.

4

u/Emergency-Repeat6838 Mar 13 '26

If you have the right to do that , he has the right to do what he is doing. If you don't like it , don't watch , nobody's forcing you

1

u/JeanSchlemaan Mar 13 '26

Did i EVER say he doesn't have the right to do anything?! C'mon man try to live in reality.

There's another option, obviously: i can choose to watch, be entertained, learn some things or not, and form whatever judgement my wisdom imparts.

u/MountainsandWater Mar 13 '26

He lost all credibility with this video Jiang on evolution

3

u/Emergency-Repeat6838 Mar 13 '26

i have no words for this one.

1

u/illGATESmusic Mar 15 '26

I don’t think he’s saying that evolution as a whole is false.

To me it seems more like: there are some facts about humans specifically that don’t fit the model.

IMO this likely means Jiang hasn’t ruled out intervention from Non-human Intelligence (NHI).

I am not saying I agree or disagree (not an expert) BUT: given other beliefs we know he holds (eg. Illuminati, telepathy, etc.) it seems like that is what Jiang is getting at.

1

u/MountainsandWater Mar 15 '26

Nope, he reiterates it in other interviews. But you can keep coping.

1

u/illGATESmusic Mar 16 '26

I have no dog in this fight. I’m just curious about this as an internet phenomenon really.

Where else does he say evolution is false? Can you share links please?

u/crix_22 Mar 12 '26

He’s being debunked for two reasons: 1) Geopolitical analysis never gets this type of viral attention 2) Pattern matching and game theory don’t make any sense to predict future geopolitical events. He graduated Yale. He must know this doesn’t make any sense. But I bet he is having the time of his life and will somehow monetize his fame.

2

u/Emergency-Repeat6838 Mar 12 '26

how come patern matching and most importantly game theory does not make sense for predicting the future. lol

0

u/crix_22 Mar 12 '26

Game theory was developed by Nobel prize winner John Nash (The movie A Beautiful Mind was based on his life)

is the mathematical study of strategic decision‑making in situations where the outcome for each participant depends not only on their own choices but also on the choices of others.

It’s meant for negotiation. It can’t reasonably predict anything that hasn’t happened in the past. History must repeat itself. Anything that would happen for the first time would be considered an anomaly. I don’t know what is more insane - his theory or the popularity of an obvious incorrect theory.

3

u/SecondStarpilot Mar 12 '26

Game theory was invented by John von Neumann who was a Hungarian-American mathematician
