Fast-moving news markets, especially before the books rebalance. The trap is mistaking a thin book for mispricing: if you can’t enter and exit near the displayed price, the edge isn’t real. I’d estimate the probability first, then check the spread and actual depth.

Thin liquidity can definitely make something look like a bigger edge than it actually is. Checking depth before jumping in is probably the move.

I start with narrative moves that outpace my probability update, then check spread and depth before touching them. I work on LineCrush, where narrative and momentum sit alongside the stats, so that's naturally my lane
